Good instructional video. But in my opinion there are some missing parts. Plastic does not come clean all the time.The video needs at least plastic cleaning section. Contaminated plastic needs to be decontaminated before shredding. Especially PET needs to be decontaminated and dried well before use. So it could have been nice to see cleaning station on the shredding workspace instructional video.
I would really like to help you guys make stuff happen but I wasn't able to find any precious plastic workspaces in Ireland and I don't have the money to order laser cut sheets or machined parts. Please tell me how else can I help?
Is possible to order a sherred directly made from you guys? I moved to East Europe, here plastic goes with aluminum and paper togheter in the same bin!!!! I feel guilty every time I throw away my gargabe... But I don't have the competence to compose a shredder by myself. So if you allow order and seel it would be wonderful.

@@Havvse Maybe, but I think our biggest worry is the plastic waste that gets broken down by natural processes into microscopic plastic aerosols and hydrosols. Shredding luckily does not produce much small particles because it cuts the plastic into flakes by shear force leaving mostly "flakes" behind.
So can you use the pyrolysis product to remake plastics? Actually I'm interested to know if with pyrolysis you can produce a plastic resin to mix with sand and make plastic bricks rather than fuel since climate change is an issue. Remaking plastic for bricks or as a feed stock to sell to plastic manufacturers to create a circular market for plastic is the goal I'm looking for.
Does anyone has recommendation to buy a shredder in Canada ? I looked on the bazaar but could find much close to our location (eastern Canada) and shipping costs usually kills the deal.
The best way is always to ask for clean plastic from the suppliers or private households. Not everyone is willingful to put the work into it, but suprisingly many people care and can be encouraged to bring their plastic clean. You can use cleaning too before/after shredding but this can become very timeconsuming!

It's more expense, but I'll recommend a flat bed weighing scale beneath the shredding machine. Same setup in 2/3rds the space

How about the micro plastic particles and dust that is generated in the process of breaking down plastic into smaller pieces?
I don't think that is a very big problem because they shred the plastic rather than pulverising it.
