Love this track. Mmlp2 is his most slept on album imo. For some reason many didn't like Berzerk (the lead single) which was a homage song to Beastie boys but also many old school ogs.
But, I think he combo'd what he was working on in Relapse & Recovery to put together mmlp2. He showed off all the skills of mc'ing lyrically, storytelling and showing off. Lol.
And threw Rap God in as gauntlet to every1 in the game.

I kinda mistyped. Meant it seemed like peeps were turned off to the album because of the berzerk being the lead single.
Remember that video with the big boom box & Rick Rubin was in it.
But, to non hip hop heads or just younger cats who aren't into the history of the genre might not understand the full concept & it being a homage track to some of the pioneers.
It brought me back to my childhood hip hop days, with that mid to late 80's def jam, Beastie boys & Run DMC style of beat with scratching.
It was definitely the most stunting talking ish album he had put out till that time.
Evil Twin off that album is one of my favorite Em tracks. (I kno ya did that 1)

Listening to the track to see how the artist intended it to be heard fully. Then go back & break it down. I always wondered why peeps never did it this way.

Em fans have their faves a click away. A compilation album really isn't truly for die hard except as a collectors pc. (in the modern era of streaming, yt & digital)
I think he's using it more for casual fans and/or younger cats who aren't as familiar with his catalog and show the range.

I really love this song, it's really just ... crazy. Like Love Game and So Far and also in a way Rap God and Brainless. the whole album is filled with ridiculous beats and he just dances over them so beautifully! It might actualyl be my favorite, although it's a tough competition ;-)
