So cool to see you buy a car you proclaimed many times previously you could never afford. I’m proud of you, Doug. Hope 2024 treats you and your family well
Same here, actually watched it twice lol. Seeing Doug finally owning a car he passionately loves made me teary. You can tell this guy loves the car so much. Actually Doug made me love cars again!
I am one of the viewers who has been following you since the S-Cargo, the 360, and the famous Carmax bumper-to-bumper Range Rover. When I saw you post a video of you achieving your dream of buying a Carrera GT, I cheered out loud. It was so insanely cool to see that goal become a reality after following along for so long. Congrats on the great 2023, and we’re all looking forward to seeing what you have in store for 2024!

I've been following you since the Jalopnik days, and I can say that the CGT video was the first and only time I've ever actually gotten excited for a creator achieving their dream car. I remember the CTS-V wagon videos, the Ferrari 360 videos, all that stuff. Knowing what that car meant to you gave it so much significance.

Been watching since 2017, still can't get enough! Thanks for your commitment to this channel, Doug, it's truly a gift to the automotive world. A great year it was, can't wait to see what 2024 has in store!
My favorite Doug videos for this year are: 1. C6 Z06 and Ferrari 360 Modena - desirable dream cars now at attainable prices 2. Corvette E-Ray and 296 GTB - two supercars taking performance to the next level in a modern/more interesting way (hybridization, that is) 3. 1995 Toyota MR2 Turbo - low-priced fun car that still looks attractive to this day 4. W210 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG - a car that pretty much encapsulates my automotive preferences (high performance, practical and seemingly understated looks-wise) 5. Doug’s Porsche Carrera GT and Lamborghini Countach - two videos that inspire me to keep going and reach my automotive dreams. Thank you, Doug for fueling our thirst for automotive content! Cheers for a prosperous 2024! 🥂
To be honest, I prefer when you're reviewing the car outside near (some) nature. It creates a sense of openness and having some nature in the background can really change the aesthetics of a car. Your Carrera-GT for example looks really different, and not in a good way, in a barren, cold garage than when you would review it outside. And yes, the weather conditions aren't always optimal but there's something about reviewing a car in an enclosed space that doesn't do the car justice, imo. It also looks kind of sketchy, despite your cargo shorts and white socks, lol. Anyway, Happy 2024, Doug!
I agree with Doug, the SP3 is truly an special car, from the astonishing design to the capabilities it has, it is something special that with the years ahead would be even more praised and loved
Been here since bumper to bumper Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Your Carrera GT video, yup, I cried; I’ve never been so proud of someone I don’t know. You are by far the most sincere, most genuine, most trusted of all the car guys; hence why you’re the only one I watch repeatedly. Happy New Year, you deserve it.
I honestly thought the TukTuk was going to be Dougs worst car of the year. I'm incredibly surprised that it didn't get any mention in this video at all!
I started watching your channel around the time you released the Alfa Romeo 4C or the Murano CrossCabrio, so almost 8 years now. I loved every single video I've watched and I've watched like 80% of them. The Carerra GT video this year brought me to tears. You deserve the very best. I do have a question though. For the last few months I only rarely clicked on your videos that I even missed the news about the Countach until a couple of weeks ago, and I didn't know why I started missing out until I watched this video and you mentioned changing your filming location to this garage, I presume, and I think it's because the thumbnail does not convey the usual Doug video feel/style/experience. Filming in different weather conditions, with several different backgrounds with natural outdoor audio, all these things that I relate to a typical Doug video. I see the new thumbnails, you filming against a grey wall, indoors and I say I'll watch it later and I rarely do, subconsciously expecting not to have the same experience as before. So I'm wondering if it's just me or have you noticed any sort of change in the viewership statistics after you changed location. I appreciate it's a lot less of a hassle to film this way as opposed to before, I'm just curious whether or not I'm the only one that felt this way. Happy new year and all the very best.
Bro the same exact thing's been happening with me, previously I clicked on every single video Doug made, even those in which I wasn't interested, just in hopes to find someone cool or interesting in the video which would make the rest of the rather boring video worth it, but now I don't even click on semi interesting videos, forgot videos on the latest ev crossover (which I admittedly did before!). Just goes to show how much a location change could ruin the overall vibe of something, it just doesn't feel right at home anymore…

Thanks for continually sharing your enthusiasm with us, Doug. Still so happy for you with the Carrera GT, especially all the work you had done to it to make it more usable and durable. What a realization of a dream. Hope it serves you well for years to come.
It's unbelievable that Doug has driven cars that are worth millions of dollars and also owns quite a few exotic cars, but he still is so nerdy and cool
1, Can you do a review of the new concrete wall filming location/garage? 2, in the way you reviewed the hotel room a while ago, will you review any other non-cars?
As a drayage trucker I pulled loads from every major container port and rail yard in and around LA. But whenever I had a load from Union Pacific LATC I always had to go an extra hour early because there was at least a 50% chance it would have been broken into and I'd have to file a report 😊

Calling the SP3 more special than the LaFerrari is the most insane thing Doug has ever said. The SP3 is such a blatant cash grab and not even in the same league as the LaFerrari
In case anybody is wondering, Doug's old filming location was the parking lot for the Sorrento Valley station on San Diego's Coaster commuter rail. I identified it by tracking the trains going by, comparing it to the scenery, and my knowledge of that route. I'm going to miss it too. Watching this in the first second of 2024 here in Jakarta! Happy new year everyone! 🎉🎉
Doug looks like he lives in a bunker
31:28 - The number two quirk of the year was also installed in my 1997 Peugeot 306 D-Turbo; same module, operated in exactly the same way.
Finally, time for one of the best annual series on UA-cam!
Great to check your videos. They are always different and we can discover so much weird details. You’re one of my favorites cars UA-camrs. Greetings 2024 from Belgium !!
This filming location will only work for the dougies, the echo oddly fits but other than this, ghat echo will get old
Thanks for continually sharing your enthusiasm with us, Doug. Still so happy for you with the Carrera GT, especially all the work you had done to it to make it more usable and durable. What a realization of a dream. Hope it serves you well for years to come.
Doug is the type of guy who uses his headrests as his bed pillow
"PIN Number on an ATM Machine" 😂😂😂
It's unbelievable that Doug has driven cars that are worth millions of dollars and also owns quite a few exotic cars, but he still is so nerdy and cool
1, Can you do a review of the new concrete wall filming location/garage?
2, in the way you reviewed the hotel room a while ago, will you review any other non-cars?
Doug is the kind of guy who doesnt own electric vehicles in his collection but tells everyone they are the best cars of the year
As a drayage trucker I pulled loads from every major container port and rail yard in and around LA. But whenever I had a load from Union Pacific LATC I always had to go an extra hour early because there was at least a 50% chance it would have been broken into and I'd have to file a report 😊
Doug is the type of guy to film multi million cars next to a dumpster.
I started following you just after your videos with the 360 and the Hummer. Just want to say congrats on your success and I love the journey we've all been through! Keep it going and don't stop being unique! Happy New Year!!!
Doug is the type of guy to rate a car's fun factor by its seat covers
Thank you Doug, for another awesome year. I'm very happy for you and for what you have come to achieve by being yourself and working hard. You deserve every bit of it and I hope you and your family have a healthy year this 2024. Happy new year!
tiktok needs to go to hell.
I've been watching since the CTS-V Wagon days. I still remember my shock and awe when you made your announcement video of your ownership of the GT-R R32, which at the time was my total dream car. That Carrera GT video brought tears to my eyes even though I've been watching your videos for all these years. Easily my favorite youtube channel to watch for car reviews and its been like that since I started watching. You've come so far and it makes me so happy to see all of it. Good job Doug!
Doug is the type of guy that doesn't know that most of the world uses keypad immobilizer to start their car.
For years and years he made videos about weird, exotic and luxurious cars. The most i watched:
-Mitsubishi i-miev
-Mitsubishi Mirage
-Toyota Previa
-Yugo 45
-Trabant 601
I just love watching weird and bad cars, Doug Demuro is the best man to review them
Doug, i've been subscribed for 7 years! I hope you never stop reviewing cars & Im glad to see your channel grow so much
32:23 Doug all giggly, squeaking with laughter! 😂🤣😅
You are amazing! Happy New Year! I am looking forward to 2024 with you!
Happy new year from London,UK. Hope you have a good one and hope 2024 is a quirky one!
It was always neat seeing rare and interesting trains run by in the background.
"A PIN number on an ATM machine" - I've never seen so much satisfaction of someone in their own world of word-play.
Almost all the PSA ( Peugeot Citroën) cars of this era had the keypad. It's probably the least quirkiest thing for us European
Doug, I had so much fun watching this video! Thanks for making it, see you and the Cars And Bids team in 2024. All the best from Brasilia, Brazil.
I keep forgetting about The Dougies, even though I've seem them all when released. Have a great year Doug. Doug is the kind of guy that I like to watch.
Doug your shows are very entertaining and informative. The Geek out and Drive is a great Combo. Keep Making Shows. Happy New Year.
