Growth Management Task Force - June 02, 2022

The Growth Management Task Force is a committee charged with engaging Cornelius citizens in order to recommend changes to the Town's Land Use Plan.
The Land Use Plan is a document designed to guide the future development of Cornelius. It presents a vision for the future, with long-range goals and objectives, includes guidance on how to make decisions on land development proposals, and sets the stage for how the Town will grow in the future. While providing a common framework to balance community interests, the plan is a means to protect public investment and valued resources by fostering a sense of place and encouraging economic development.
