Klutzes need not apply. They’re also carrying the molten aluminum too far and should move the forms closer to the crucible. They don’t mess around. Think they’d do all my aluminum cans for me? Ha!
Also, do you see that piece of sheet metal on the floor, in front of the crucible? I am sure that is up in a vertical position when they are firing up the crucible and loading it with aluminum to melt. Then only when they are pouring, do they move it out of the way. They should move it completely out of the way so they do not trip over it though.
A few other comments have been made about the furnace. I totally agree! I just wounder over the years how many have fell or slipped and found some part of their body plugging into that hot aluminum. To have absolutely no kind of guards to protect someone from falling into to the furnace. I don't know if they have any kind of forklift but it would be very easy to imagine someone backing into this hole in the floor .As far as Life Safety they do have gloves on however they are the wrong type for working around hot molten liquids. At least one of them has what appears to be glasses. Who knows if they are safety glass or not. Again they should be using at a minimum face shields to protect from splashes. Great place to work! Of course it might be the only good paying jobs in the area.
Remelting dross gets more Al. It's called refining. All unclean metal from Earth has dross you can't just scoop it out and put it to the side, that is heat waste. People tend to put it to the side and reheat like I do.
I seen this and within 10 seconds I was saying holy mother of fuuuuuck because I could only wish to make such a large crucible or have that much material to melt.
it would be better to have a machine to lift the crucible out and have a hole you can open and let the liquid metal pour into some water and have aluminum shot than all the safetyft risk and hand pouring all that
Oil Burner ha ha ya you hit the nail on the head common sense no longer seems to exist here you need someone else to tell you what to do and not to do. makes you wonder what would happen if they made all those saftey regs disappeared cities might become pretty desolate lol. by the way love your videos thinking about building one of your burners as soon as i check with city code (seems people dont trust a 17 year old with molten metal and a flamethrower near their homes)
Oil Burner hi I'm from the u.s and you're right. people here are becoming to soft and it pisses me off to see what this country has become. but where i live in America that really isn't a problem (thankfully) just started gathering supplies for my own foundry. great videos keep them up
Oil Burner Hey oil burner. I'm kind of a dimwit and can't really think for myself but I really want to make a vegetable oil burner. Can you explain it to me as carefully as you can, or do you have a video link that explains it? Thanks.
OK it's dangerous so is any other foundry jobs health and saftey does not always prevent accidents I have been working on big cold chamber machines for over 30 years when a die ejector pin breaks during injection it is not very nice
"Where's the new guy..?" .."Doeno boss, he was jus here a min ago"
He's in he corner cleaning tools with a can of gas and a paintbrush.......
Health and safety? Ring any bells? Nope, didn't think so. It's shockingly easy to fall in to the crucible...
It's easy to say,i bet they are carefull, but you never know what might happen...
TheFrosty it's a foundry. a crucible is the things they scoop and pour the aluminum into ingots with
Hazor Inc Those would be ladles. Very large ones. The crucible is large enough they have to ladle out the aluminium.

what i dont get is, why are they throwing the dross back into the crucible ?
So it remelts. Dross isn't all waste, there is still some aluminum in it.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته منكن رقم الهاتف نتصل بيك على الوايساب يا اخي
Do you have laboratory for analysis???
81 thumbs down from people who think gloves and shoes are an unnecessary precaution.
I seen this and within 10 seconds I was saying holy mother of fuuuuuck because I could only wish to make such a large crucible or have that much material to melt.
vocalsforever same here dude
I was wondering how many light aircraft and teslas it can hold.
what is the material of pouring bowl ?
old school,gittin it done
I would like to ask you some questions....where i can contact you
It seems very easy to fall in the face-meltingly hot hole. This is a little bit too sloppy, even for me.
بالنسبه للخلطه نفسها والمكونات علشان نسبه التحليل ٩٧%
هههههههههههههه
pro this is so cool, il like melting
Check out the Chanel mp dragon
I love hot holes 😍
Not that hot
If one of them fall down the furnace, will it be a Chilluminum alloy?
it would be better to have a machine to lift the crucible out and have a hole you can open and let the liquid metal pour into some water and have aluminum shot than all the safetyft risk and hand pouring all that
Wow, no safety gear to speak of. Just gloves and glasses, and little canvas shoes. I wonder what the life expectancy of someone doing that job is?
Thanks Oil Burner for your very professional input! Lol either way I love your aluminum melting vids.

Namaste sir,
Sir i want melting work, can you help me please
kit-kat bars
china is not big on safety im guessing
What type of mold are you using
It's looks like they use a cast iron one. I made mine from C-channel and flat bar.

Where is magneto when you need him!?
Aluminum is paramagnetic........ Magneto wouldn't have much effect with it.
