Ahhh, my alma mater, I get the ease and expense advantages of running a gas or electric locomotive, but nothing’s better than the challenge of running a small coal burning locomotive with a large load. thanks for the video Nate
Besides the wind it looks like it was a great day. Nothing like the sound of a real steam whistle. That place sure is big compared the Wilson Park live steamers.
Heyo! I love the Riverside Live Steamers, and kne kf the reasons why is because I used to work there! I got to work with the engineers in the yard, help fix the track, clean up leaves in the Fall, and i polished one engine's bell. The engineer siad i did a great job. Since I think i was 12, i fell asleep on my friend's shoulder during 2 different meetings LOL This is bringing back some great memories, i do intend to go back one day, it was a lot of fun!

I love that wig wag crossing!
Do they allow oil steam locomotives also
Any steam locomotives. I saw coal, diesel, oil, and propane firing.
The club locomotives urn oil, If it boils water for power, you can run it.
