Here in Maine in the US, there are lots of wild moose, but they never let anyone get close to them. I have read that moose antlers are the fastest growing tissue in nature. I enjoy your videos.
I love your moose, but I never knew that they could be friendly. When I was in my twenties, I was deer hunting in Maine, and much to my horror, I saw a moose at about hundred meters. I thought that my heart was going to stop! I was a veteran of the Viet Nam war, and I thought that I had the fear thing conquered, but I distinctly remember thinking that the animal was the size of a train. I was carrying a rifle suitable for whitetail deer, but I knew that if the moose wanted to have at me, it was over. I remained as still as a rock until he decided to wander off, much to my relief. I never hunted in Maine again. I love to watch your moose come to you for both food and love! I’m very old, but if I was younger, I would love to work at your place! The deer are nice, but the moose thrill me! Thank you for doing this!
Once again, thank you for sharing your daily life. I find it calming to watch your videos. It must be good for them to lose their antennae. It's really heavy for them. At least they have a reprieve for a while. Thanks again for sharing with us.💁♀️🥰🇨🇦
Absolutely beautiful 😊 I lived in Jackman Maine. On Moosehead Lake 😊 I just subscribed....thank you for the memories and huge smile, in the inside 😊 you're learning so much! I envy you. Enjoy 😊
How long did it take you to be able to trust to touch them? I love your videos, i live in washington state USA and would move to your farm in a second if i could . Love moose ! their faces 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 they have my temperment lol
Skullaryd thanks for sharing these massive furbabies of yours . Their antlers are so massive ,but they fit their bodies its amazing to me that they fall off and come back . Does it hurt them to go through this considering the antlers are so huge? Love watching thanks again.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Born and raised in Skowhegan Maine. I've encountered dozens of moose and I've always wondered what their fur feels like. They look the same size as our North American moose. Are they the same breed?
You mean that little triangle? Thats the actual "wet" part of their nose, and looks out of place just due to them evolving the big silly looking nose to allow them to live in cold environments by warming the air before it hits their lungs
@@claudiaidelberger8495oh the dewlap? Noones really sure, and it shows up on the cows too. Its probably a evolutionary holdover to do with growing that thick of a pelt, and since it wasn't harming them none, it was retained.

How many species of herd animals do you have at your park? Different kinds of deer ?

Go Hans!
Hello, may I allow myself to ask you if you do a business with your elk, meat for example or is it with a view to strict protection?
What reticule does Hans have under his chin? What is it for?😮

@@Shinzon23That's very interesting, thank you very much, I did not know that.
@@Shinzon23What I actually ment is the little bag hanging from his chin/neck, which the man grabs at 2:34 while stroking Hans? What is that? XXX☺

But will he let you ride him
I just hope the only thing "farmed" from these creatures IS there antlers and felt?
Wish i could walk with them❤🫎❤️
