Four in five people taking their driving test will be asked to follow directions from a sat nav for roughly 20 minutes. We're going to follow a sat nav on an actual driving test route and give you some great driving test tips along the way. If you're learning to drive a manual car then this video will hopefully be helpful.
We'll also show you which mirrors to check and when to signal. You'll also see how and when to use the clutch, brake and accelerator.
If you're taking driving lessons and have a driving test coming up soon then hopefully this video will help with the learning to drive process.

At 56, I passed my first theory driving test yesterday (Friday 4th Oct '19). Scored 48 out of 50, and on Hazard scored 65 out of 75. I was so happy. Now preparing for my practical test. Wish me luck.

Pretty much felt like a free lesson.
What does my absolute nut in is if you do the speed limit you have people right up your backside all the time. Nothing more frustrating.

Just passed my test last week. First time 1 minor and it was fairly easier than I expected. I was told to treat the test as a normal lesson but i’m just driving a new person around, it helped my nerves and I drove as I normally would. Using the satnav was easy for the most part, unless I go confused on directions where the examiner guided me through it. Watching your videos also helped me with a lot of things I was struggling on.

I've just passed my driving test (my second one)
I had a Sat nav on my first test and it completely threw me has I had never practiced with a Sat nav (was quite annoyed with my instructor)
Anyway this was a game changer for me and I felt so confident using the Sat nav on this second test.

Speed limit with street lighting: 30 unless otherwise indicated
Speed limit without street lighting on single carriageway: 60 unless otherwise indicated
Speed limit on dual carriageway and motorways: 70 unless otherwise indicated or due to roadworks (usually 50)

So much information in one video 😍 I always look right then left when turning left at a junction, you never know if there is gonna be a vehicle parked in the way. The same is for roundabouts, just because you can go doesn't mean you can if there is a vehicle at stand still on the roundabout in front of you. Thanks again for this helpful video!!! :)
