He is a brave guy. Travel everywhere with almost not a dime in his wallet. Yet keep smiling. I wish him all the success, always in good health, safe, neverr be hungry.
I couldn't fathom putting myself in his position, risking my life to end up abroad. Maybe I lack the courage to be as optimistic as he is. I hope Malaysia is the right country for him in spite of all his challenges. Seeing him in a favourable light has made me appreciate God even more. God bless him.
I am surprised too. A few weeks ago,I volunteered in a street mission in the streets of Kuala Lumpur .We gave free food ,blankets and toiletries. I was surprised to see foreigners lining up to receive our donations. They didn't look like illegal immigrants but tourists who were stranded. Some were played out by employment agents. They sounded educated.
Before we can visit Western countries, they want us to show our return tickets, money and hotel bookings. It is high time we impose the same conditions on visitors from the West. There are too many Westerners pan-handling in Bukit Bintang.
He is a busker just like me. He thinks just like me. Be free from the so called "normal life" like everybody else as long as we don't cause trouble to others. Cool.
Malaysia open it door widely for the purpose of tourism industry..meaning that tourist bring some money to be spend in Malaysia..not the other way round
Oh hey i saw that guy when i visites Melaka in September back then.. honestly i was a bit surprised seeing a Westerner being a street artist in Malaysia..
He has nice voice. I hope he will be at KL especially bukit bintang and play there once a while so we local KL can enjoy too . Each busker in bukit has their spot and they share the spot and play at specific time
He's so lucky to be able to get away with busking in Malaysia without a permit. I remember a friend (yes, a local!) who had to apply for a permit to busk in KL from DBKL.
It's really impossible to have a woman, long-term.If you don't have at least a little bit of money 😢 You definitely do not Need to be rich but you have to have a little bit
Very nice rendition of John Lennon's Imagine, playing solo guitar on a bridge in Melaka, with some twist in the lyrics. All the best to him & his street music performance.
Hope that you have had a good time and a pleasant stay in Melaka. Oh my, how does that poor chap survives in Malaysia. But he has lots of traveling experience to tell.
It looks like he is running away from any life responsibilities. It's not normal as well, especially for his kids when they were younger. I'm sure they needed his support
as a UK Brit nomad I noticed he has a UK Birmingham accent, seem like Malaysia has more plus points than the Philippines, which has got me interested, was that a Hard Rock Cafe?
He has a Brummie accent, must be origins from Birmingham or somewhere in Midlands of England. it used to be a few tourists do busking in KL for money but the authority has stopped them..hopefully he will be alright. All the best pal.

Yes. Even locals who want to busk at Bukit Bintang need to apply for a permit to do so from DBKL. I had a local friend who did that. This guy is taking advantage of local people's kindness and living on people's handouts. Another European BEGpacker.
Despite he is foreigner, he has good level education and objective, well if you dont have any ulterior motives just come and enjoy
He is a brave guy. Travel everywhere with almost not a dime in his wallet. Yet keep smiling. I wish him all the success, always in good health, safe, neverr be hungry.
Great interview, seems a nice guy good luck to him 😎👍

Oh hey i saw that guy when i visites Melaka in September back then.. honestly i was a bit surprised seeing a Westerner being a street artist in Malaysia..
The basker has quite a good voice. If he sings with mix of local language, definitely will attract audience/viewers.
Good luck buddy. You seems like a nice n honest person.

He should sing in a Pub.
It's not legal for him to work there.
He's so lucky to be able to get away with busking in Malaysia without a permit. I remember a friend (yes, a local!) who had to apply for a permit to busk in KL from DBKL.
😂because he is orang puteh.
I’m suprised that Malaysian government had left him get away with out permit and is his visa still valid?
It's really impossible to have a woman, long-term.If you don't have at least a little bit of money 😢 You definitely do not Need to be rich but you have to have a little bit
He will be famous soon
Great content as always!

That guy is awesome
In Malaysia homeless is protected by the Government by giving them food and shelter that’s why we can hardly find homeless in Malaysia
Wow that is admiral .
Very nice rendition of John Lennon's Imagine, playing solo guitar on a bridge in Melaka, with some twist in the lyrics. All the best to him & his street music performance.

He can bulk up in Malaysia and travel again for sure. He said he loves the food here, no problem there.
Pity his children. Father off not doing his responsibility. Not admirable behaviour.
He live his life. Might not be perfect but its his.
So easy to judge other people, you so perfect?
His kinds are grown with families of their own.
@@mae42061 So we shouldn't call out immoral behavior because we aren't perfect ourselves?
It looks like he is running away from any life responsibilities. It's not normal as well, especially for his kids when they were younger. I'm sure they needed his support
This is considered working and you need permit for that. Don't try it you will risk staying in migrant depot while waiting for court..
Bro, I want to give you tips to succeed as a foreigner in Malaysia as a busker singer, you have to sing top Malay songs made in video
God Bless to This Man 🐺

@HalimahMohamad-vv5yx yea.. something new too ..
WOW THIS IS AMAZING INTERVIEW WALAUN GOT SO MUCH TO LEARN FROM HIM
How on earth, he got entry visa if he doesn't have enough money?
They don't ask for proof of funds for tourist visa
@Livingabroadalex that's not right...🤔
Might not be right but that's the way it is
@@Livingabroadalexthat's the prob

This guy is lucky he didn't run into Ivan Milat or a similar character when he hitch hiked across Australia!

Wow he speaks good English!
Is wrong for foreigners simply busking in other country.
Nothing wrong with music! Only wrong with human brain!
