The way Wilhelm waited for Simon to kiss him, you just know he wanted to kiss Simon so badly but he respected the space and waited for Simon to actually make the move I- AAHHH
I know i shouldn't have laughed when Simon threw the ball at Wilhelm. But i did 😂 He really put his whole strength into that throw. That boy was PISSED 🤣

i dont think simon not telling marcus the nmes of the fishes is only about not trusting him is also his way of protecting a very special memory he had with wilhelm, and i just love that so much because even though he is denying as much as he can, these little moments show us that he's still very much in love with wille
The pain when Wilhelm was being friendly with Marcus because he accepted that Simon "moved on" 😭
And don't get me started when Wilhelm said "i get it, you're not in love with me anymore. Your boyfriend seems nice"😭 I'm so glad Simon went after him to kiss him. The RELIEF on Wilhelms face 🥺🥺
That was the kick in the rear that Simon needed for sure. The panic in his eyes when he thought he could actually lose Wilhem was just palpable.
I feel like Simon wasn’t able to accept his feelings for Wille until Wille told him that he was going to leave him alone
I love how there are just so many parallels between the two seasons. From Marcus asking for the names of his fishes, to Simon wanting to watch a horror movie with Marcus because him and Wilhelm watched a horror movie just before their first kiss, even to the way Wilhelm kissed Felice in bed (removing the pillow and everything). This show is just too good
Simon not telling Marcus about the fishes shows he's giving up on Marcus. He knows it won't be the same. So no use in recreating. I also think Marcus only changed his mind when he thought of Simon and Wille being there on Valentines. He tried to keep him from the ball but when he learned Simon has to sing he joined, asking them to leave right after though. You can tell how Simon feels constantly uncomfortable and not himself with him around.
I just saw a UA-cam short with Omar where he said the fishes was one of his favorite scenes because it showed he didn’t feel the saw about Marcus
The thing is Lisa the director said he wasn't jealous because Wilhelm and Felice kissed, he was mad at the fact they are celebrating a straight kiss because its Wilhelm with a girl but when Wilhelm kisses Simon and people found out they did not celebrate they judge him instead which made him mad and leave the room but I also feel like deep down he was jealous lol
Seeing August waiting for Sara just broke my heart for him. I know everyone loves to hate him and would love to love Sara, but it's the brilliance of this show. It manages to twist things up so easily, by not going black/white with its characters
This season I really felt sorry for him and kind of started to like him. Yeah he made a BIG mistake, but it was driven by mental problems I think
@@missgeschick6317 I agree. He is so dependent on confirmation as he's not getting the love by his mom, his Dad is dead, and he clearly has no friends. If Eric was one, he lost him, too. And now Sara... I can see how and why he is falling back into old habits and its just so sad. Great character arc.

Apparently Edvin and Omar improvised the moments between the kiss, which I swear just makes the chemistry between them and their characters that much better

The built-up before the kiss was killing me but I loved every second of it! Their chemistry is everything.
I definitely think that Simon was jealous about the table scene, but also maybe cause it hits that Wille wouldn’t be able to get the same congratulatory reaction if he said he hooked up with Simon
I totally agree on your judgement with Sara. She is all about trust, but she betrays people who care about her constantly. Her brother by not telling him about August. Searching Felice phone behind her back and telling August about it. Dumping August for her membership of the girl gang. She's the most distrustful in this whole show. August at least hesitated to use the video in season 1, and he only used the information about who gave the other student the blame when he felt hurt and isolated again, but Sara uses every information she gets to her own benefit.

Okay but can we talk about how strong Wille was at the ball! God just imagine thinking that the person you still love doesn't love you anymore? Heartbreak! And then actually being brave enough to let the other person know that it's okay and that you'll let them go.... Plus thinking that they love someone else and saying that their new partner seems nice ugh!
God I feel so bad for Wille. Also the way Simon looked at him, you can just see him processing everything... 😟
I actually paused it after he told Simon that because I was in shock that a 16 year old boy, who never really had any love or happiness in his life, had the strength to accept it and say it out loud. Other grown adults can't even handle knowing the person they love is with someone else, let alone accept it and say someone nice about it....
And the way that they both couldn't stop smiling during their kiss and Wille afterwards, omg stop!
But afterwards when Wille ran outside you could feel all his strength he showed before in front of Simon vanished and he collapsed inside and just fell onto those steps. Totally emotionally drained. - So many pure and raw moments to witness. And the acting?? Nothing but stunning! 🙌

Two things - I really belive that Willes intention was to not make that statement (deny that it was him in the video), but his mom talked him into it on the way there in the car! Also, I love that Wille was waiting for Simon to make the first move in the kissing scene! 😍🥰❤️
And his mom knew that she would have to talk Wilhelm into it by using Erik's legacy as Crown Prince to guilt trip him into making the statement, that's why she came to pick him up even though they were supposed to meet at the interview. Wilhelm told Simon that he would tell his mom that he wants to be with Simon and that he doesn't want to make a statement and that's exactly what he told her in the car. Wilhelm never told Simon that though, so Simon only knows the end result, not what lead to it.
@@RaineInChaos That's because at that point he was not ready to come out, so he was either going to come out for Simon or not come out for his mom. It was never about him at that moment.

Head writer Lisa Ambjörn just said in a written interview that Wilhelm was forced to lie. Quote: "For Wilhelm, the realization throughout the 2nd season has been that he and Simon's relationship was never the problem. The problem was that he was forced to lie." "When Simon gets hurt by Sara - the person that is supposed to know him best, and who he thinks has the same view on life as him, but it turns out doesn't, he's left to wonder who he can trust. The answer to that question is Wilhelm."
You should definitely watch Simon's song with the translated lyrics because the song is about Wille, even though officially it's about the school. This episode was wild, with angst and tension through the roof but such a wonderful ending.
Also to point… Simon’s reaction after Wilhelm telling him that he is ok to let him go and the way his face changes and also while sipping that wine with Marcus.. we could totally feel how much he felt hurt as well.. and oh god Wilhelm emotions it was on his sleeve… and I totally agree with Adam about their chemistry.. they totally are insane such great eye contacts and love ❤️ can’t help it but just great ❤❤❤❤❤
I didn't see the song's subtitles. If you saw them you would have screamed and sobbed. I think there are two settings for the subs: English, and another, English CC (closed caption) which shows song lyrics. You can search YT for Simon's song with English lyrics. There are two song versions, the shorter one used in the series that ends with Hillerski will live on. The longer release ( over 2 min 23 sec) has two more verses that will break your heart.
I love that ending. Simon,s song is like I'm in heaven. And the kiss? I died. 😭☺️😍👑⚜️💜

Adam's drama at times is upsetting, he tries to react before scenes are finished it interferes with the series. Just chill a bit. You can't talk to the actors nor producers it's a done deal already.

I honestly love the lunch scene because I feel like Simon needed that little push of jealousy to make him realize that he's not ready for Wilhelm to move on. This is my favorite episode by far, the acting is just on another level. Wilhelm's pain after deciding that he has to let Simon go, and how you can just see Simon's heart breaking when Wilhelm tells him that. I'm absolutely living for your reaction to everything that happens between them at the ball, I was exactly the same 😂 All of that just happened so perfectly, and I also love that you dislike Marcus as much as I do hahaha. Thanks for yet another great reaction! ❤
I agree! I think Simon needed to see that Wille is moving on, too. That he's not there waiting anymore, trying to get him back. Both scenes, the lunch and the ball scene, they probably made it clear to Simon that he doesn't want that. Its the one thing to choose against something (for now), but to be ripped off the choice is a whole different thing.

The first time I watched this episode and Wilhelm told Simon that he understood that Simon didn't love him anymore my heart just dropped, because obviously we all know that Simon never stopped loving Wilhelm. They did such a great job building up to this moment by showing us how Simon was missing Wilhelm more and more, and then the ball was that last drop for him. I love this episode so much 🥺

@@HUSKERCLAWS yeah I watched that Insta live too haha! I definitely see it as the reaction from the boys, the ”celebration”, was the reason to Simon getting so mad that he had to leave the situation. But when they talk about it in the dressing room later on he also says that he ”didn’t like finding out about it like that”, which I think sounds more like him being jealous of what happened between Wilhelm and Felice, rather than still only being mad about the actual situation at lunch.

The way they request August to reshape his whole future, at least the next 10 years, DESPITE being 18 (he's a senior, right?), only shows how the queen was lying to Wille about how they would talk about what he wants once he's 18. She's not giving a fuck about August's plans. He has to give up all his privacy, his social media, his future, just to be plan B. There is no way Wille would ever be free in his choices.
But because August is 18 he doesn't have to do it, he wants to be Crown Prince/King! And when Wilhelm is 18 he will have legal power in the Royal Family too and can finally make his own decisions, despite what his mom wants.
I feel like Niels was trying to get in Wille’s pants this entire season without coming out and saying it.
oh, yeah. He is fishing in not a subtle way. I laughted the time he asked Wilhelm what kind of man prefered. Not subtle at all. Bless Wilhelm for his absolute inocent mind.

He definitely didnt think that would come and he was heartbroken, but I am happy this happened and that Wille said it because Simon realized he doesn’t want Wille to give up on them and that he is not ready to let him go and he also got scared by the fact that Wille is moving on, too. How great this scene was. Still processing it.

I saw like 6 reactions on this episode and I love how we all have the same reactions. I was mad and sad, I couldn´t breathe and in the end, I was smiling and so happy. It was such a rollercoaster but I love how Wille did in this episode, he really thought Simon is moving on, and speaking with Marcus cost all of his energy and he was so devastated, also when I saw Simon´s reaction, it looked like he really didn´t think that would come and he was surprised and heartbroken because he thought he can lose him so I was so happy when he went chasing for him and kissed him to show him he definitely didn´t move on and they still have a chance. I don´t like Marcus, he is manipulative and absolutely doesn´t respect that Simon doesn´t want something serious (we know he wants it but with Wille and not him) but I kinda feel sorry for him because Simon is using him and does it on purpose which is not good. When Simon didn´t tell Marcus the names of the fishes, I knew the show will have a happy ending, I just knew it.

OMG... this episode...it makes me feel speechless because the acting is so mesmorising..Wilhelm crying putting the wig on to that music..Edvin said in an interview that it is one of his favourite scenes as Wilhelm realised what being a king is along with the responsibilities..that is why he cried...then the kiss..this show is the best..Edvin, Omar and Malte are driving us all crazy. I adore Wilhelm so much and my heart aches for him since the very first episode..he is so lonely. .and needs Simon so much😪😪

I just can't when they are about to kiss like the TENSIONNNNNN !!!!!! I don't know why but I melt anytime Simon looks at Wilhelm, the pure adoration in his eyes. Felice has grown on me this season, I didn't liked her in season 1 but her friendship with Wilhelm is so cute ^^I don't like August but him preparing his room for her and being so disappointed after receiving the text, I felt for him. A little bit. Then he became a dick again lol.
Now, I need to promote another show, WARRIOR NUN. Like, given how much you like Motherland Fort Salem or Wynonna Earp, shows about badass women, with fantastic elements and gays, this show you will fall in love ! I HIGHLY RECOMMAND IT.

Adam, I understand August wanted to change or at least he was trying to change his behaviour. He took off the pills from the garbage when Jan-Olof talked with him about his ten years future schedule. Getting his desire (being a Crown succesor) is more complicated than he anticipated and I think he is going to see it very soon.
Queen Kristina broke his goods intentions with her talk about succesion. Everybody are taking bad decisions this season: Wilhelm, Simon, Sara, August and Kristina. The only one being a dear is Felice.
You should react to The School for Good and Evil movie that came out on Netflix a few weeks ago. (Sofia Wylie, who plays Gina on HSMTMTS, is in it as one of the stars.
