The prequel to "When The Long Night Ended", "He Who Devoured The Dark" is a concept song about a character who ended the age of dark over a thousand years after the events at the end of Dark Souls 3, when the age of dark ended and the age of humanity began with a new kindled flame. @@azouhakim2004 Indeed the age of dark is the end of the age of the gods that was way long prolonged by Gwyn when he lit the flame to fight against inevitable fate, which would have humanity rise from that age of dark over time. This post dark souls 3 story concept is just explaining when humanity would rise out of the dark apocalyptic phase that dark souls 3 ended on, and start to build their own sovereignty, be prosperous ect...

And as the fire keeper said, even through the dark, the flickering of embers are to be noticed. A new fire perhaps. Kinda like the community itself, the age of fire(the release of games) has ended, we are in an age of Dark, yet the hint of new embers emerging grow ever bright(new content that people make, or games like elden ring)

The man garbed in black armour stood tall on the battlefield, his two crimson blades glinting in the sunlight. His enemies trembled in fear as they stared into his cold, emotionless eyes, which seemed to hold a dark and ancient power.
The air around him seemed to grow colder as he began to move, his armour clanking with each step. The ground beneath his feet cracked and withered, as if in fear of his presence. His enemies could feel their own strength draining away as if the very life force was being sucked out of them.
With a fierce battle cry, the man lunged forward, his blades slicing through the air with deadly precision. His enemies fought back with all their might, but it was no use. The man's armour absorbed their attacks, and with each strike of his blades, he devoured their strength, leaving them weak and helpless before him.
The battle was intense, and the ground was littered with the bodies of the fallen. But the man in black armour emerged victorious, his blades dripping with the blood of his enemies. His eyes seemed to blaze with an unquenchable hunger as he walked among the dead as if searching for more to feed on.
As he stood victorious, the man let out a sinister, guttural laugh that chilled the bones of all who heard it. He could feel the strength of his enemies coursing through his veins, making him stronger and more powerful than ever before.
With a final glance at the carnage he had wrought, the man turned and disappeared into the darkness, his blades still glowing with the power of his defeated foes. His enemies knew that they would never be safe as long as he was still out there, hunting for more to feed on.

How do you create your music?
I use Logic Pro X as base D.A.W, and for instrumentation I use Better Service Dark Era, and EastWest Opus Hollywood Orchestra (can get the full bundle of the second one for 30 AUD a month) I make all my melodies and patterns but I use virtual instrumentation not studio performance recording.
