Love your style! When you were talking about the individual fibers, I thought you were trying to decide which one. Surprised me when you put them all together. Great experiment. Look forward to more videos from you.
Yeah, self-restraint runs a little short in me! Thank you. The blanket is alllllmost done. I look forward to getting the follow-up video out there. Thank you Sue. :)
I'm almost finished spinning the rest of the 800 yds. the final doesn't have quite as much of the orange, which I agree, was a nice pop. now I'm thinking of a simple-enough-for-the-yarn but interesting to knit pattern. We'll see...
My pet hate with blankets (in general) is there’s always a right and wrong side. What busy mother has time to make sure the right side is always showing 🤔 I tend to either do moss stitch or basketweave. Or, crochet.
Love your advise as I am an enthusiastic learner

I just finished one with superwash merino. It came out lovely. I held 3 strands together . Thank you so much for sharing :)
Did I erase my reply? Ah...tech... I love the squooshiness of those 3-strand fabrics. so luscious!
I love the blue/ orang blend. I actually really like the washed sample too but understand it doesn’t make since to do lace.

You’re so right! I have to admit that I let that consideration drop along the wayside. I promise not be picky about which side the kiddo has showing!!
