This show was very popular in the UK. I remember watching it with my Dad. We always seemed to shed a tear at the end. We need shows like this again in this shallow world. Thank You for sharing.

I sort of fun fact I never met Victor French but I had a friend that at one point went out with his daughter put true fact.

Micheal Landon died when he was only 54 which is kind of a middle age too young
This was and is one of the best shows ever. This is how the world should be. Filled with respect, gratitude, love and honesty. People could learn a lot from watching this. RIP Mr. Landon. You were a good man in life. You will be truly missed and always loved ❤️.
And it was not just show for just old peoples. I was 12 when I saw it and I loved it.
But now it is show for older. I doubt some 12 years old will watch it in 2023 :-D

Some episodes are "a bit much" but over all the show is pretty good. I can still enjoy the occasional rerun and I've been an athiest for as long as i could think. Victor French is just a wonderful actor. Soooo expressive.

As a child i used to love watching all the good deeds he did, this literally inspired me to try and help anyone when ever i can, It's so rewarding and it feels so good inside.

Oh my goodness. I forgot how good this show was. And the intro brought memories flooding back to me. And what great memories they were. Of my family watching this together. Don't see that anymore these days. And what a loss to families of today. They will never know this wonderful feeling.

I was a very young boy the first time I watched this series, and I love this serial already. Now I remember why I liked it. Should have more TV shows or movies like this that promote good values.

Truly loved Little House and Highway to Heaven. Both shows were wonderful! Cried like a baby when Michael Landon died. I am glad that Melissa Gilbert went to see him and that they were able to put their differences aside. May Michael rest in peace.

I was lucky to meet both Michael Landon and Victor French on an episode they were filming in Rosemead, CA and El Sereno, CA. It was the boys club episode and I got both their autographs. They were very kind to me and nobody told me to get off the set.

My grandma, my mom and me watched Highway to Heaven together when I was a kid. I was extra excited because I'm a huge Oakland A's fan and I thought Victor French and I had a special bond because I had the same hat he wore on the show. I would always wear it while watching. When the show was ready to start my grandma would say "go get your hat"

1984 so I was 10 years old when this aired. I loved it till the show ended :) Thank Michael Landon for giving me a fatherly guidance through this show when a father wasn't present, you'll always be remembered.

I chanced upon this TV serial entirely due to COVID19 lock down. It is a shame I didn't know about this movie all these years. Every episode is wonderful, brilliant, engrossing.
Me too and I didn’t mind watching any reruns. I even have the shows theme song on my UA-cam playlist to enjoy while driving.

The nurse Leslie at the nursing home was the school teacher on Little House. Michael was good at recycling his cast and crew. Such quality, meaningful television back then; l miss it, our world needs it more than ever before.

I checked the Wikipedia with Leslie Landon and she was in Little House on the Prairie. She was not in Highway Heaven. She looked different than the nurse you saw her. Her real name is Mary McCusker. She was on Highway to Heaven part one and two in 1984 also another one in 1986. You can check Mary McCusker on IMDb.com.

My kids were preschoolers when this series aired and my wife and I used to watch it with them. It was one of the few television series that was family-oriented. There haven't been many series that families can watch together since Highway went off the air.

Michael Landon was one of the best actors that I had the pleasure of watching in my younger years. I am so sad at the fact that Victor French's death while the series was in reality on hiatus led to a premature ending to the show. He also was a great actor.. and the two of them paired together were a great duo.

I was 7 years when i watched Little house on prairie , all about beautiful family in a village ! Now 2020 age 49 watching this series , i missed michael landon. What a lovely man he was. ❤️

I first saw this show when I was an atheist. Even then I loved it, because of the uplifting theme and the reflections on morality and one's place in the world and society.
A true classic in the History of Television and a show which can be enjoyed by people from all creeds (or lack of). This world definitely needs more shows with a positive message like this one.
Me and my grandmother use to watch this show when it first come out.She has been dead maybe 30yrs.I will always keep this show in my heart,something we shared.

Just enjoy watching this pick me up show. Whether angel is involved or not, it simply shows how people could treat each other. There are evil people around but i think and know there are also kindness in abundance.
My grandmother used to watch this series and black and white movies that included Boris Karloff, Vincent Price, Bella Lugosi and, the list goes on. I started watching all these great movies and series which shows true great quality in entertainment which in this time and age has been long forgotten. If the youth these days would appreciate these type of shows than the garbage they show on TV now there would be more respect and honor. I was adopted by my Grandmother in 1987 so I had the pleasure to learn at a young age.
Highway to Heaven is my #2 favourite show of all time.
