    I smoked a lot of weed up till about 22 yrs old. Then became a very casual, at parties only type smoker. Could not imagine trying to build my career as a daily stoner. Now being retired, I drink zero alcohol and smoke a little weed about twice per week. Something about the weed takes away the built up anger about the injustices in our world. There is really nothing a retired person can do to fix our world. It is up to the youth. Not that the constant injustice happening to others ever stops being a drain on our life. Smoking a little once in a while seems to take the edge off and give a little momentary relief from it.

    This is hell of a video, content’s 100% straight to the point on beating the myths created by society under the “benefits of smoking weed”. There’s no such thing as that, don’t let your mind betray you just to avoid thinking that weed is killing your life and future. This is pure content from a living testimonial who beat the shit out of that life-drainer vice.

    Weed alone is not the single handed thing stopping you from self development, sure it can make you feel great with where you’re at even if you’re not where you truly want to be, but there’s plenty of people who don’t smoke weed who never develop emotionally either, plenty of 40&50 year olds who act like children, addiction is addiction period and will stop anybody from self development it’s not the substance that’s inherently evil it’s our relationship with it and ourself at the end of the day, so let’s not demonize weed, for those who enjoy it recreationally/spiritually and can manage it accordingly it’s beneficial and encourages self development, for those who spend to much time with the substance and not enough with other things it will hinder development, some can balance both, yes you shouldn’t need a substance to be your best self, but if you are developing and growing and becoming your best self and can truly enjoy it alongside yourself you’ll be golden, also how old you are plays a huge role as well, ofc is younger folk under 25 years, (im 23) have to watch out more because our brains haven’t even fully developed, but find yourself without substance first to truly enjoy whatever you do, everything in moderation is truly the key lighten up and enjoy life don’t take it too serious friends, love❤️

    • @Nico_Bellick
      @Nico_Bellick  Рік тому +10

      you are 100% correct friend. That's the reason why I said at least a couple times that there are definitely people out there that can manage their consumption because it is all about that; management of emotions. A strong management of your emotions can lead to being able to manage substance consumption. In my case, I am not able to do so, which led to the creation of this video and touching people that might feel the same. For me, I do not see weed as the problem, I see years of not being educated by my older folk on things like a strong mindset and controlling my emotions to not feel depressed as the problem. I think that is also important to highlight the fact that if you decide to smoke you MUST KNOW that it does carry a health weight, your brain will suffer, it is a fact, especially if you want to consume on a daily. So, even if you can manage it and not affect your psyche on a negative way, watch out for the health intricacies and the fact that cannabinoids are not supposed to be ingested in the way they get ingested when you smoke weed. Oh and I agree... Mushrooms mushrooms mushrooms!!!

      If you believe in the Great I Am- you will see that it is an idol for all - those who need CBD benefits- leave out THC as it isn’t the beneficial part. Dr Amen will tell you that weed & football are the 2 worse things for your brain. The ritual & tge smoke involved are witchcraft- straight up

    • @larrytate1657
      @larrytate1657 Рік тому

      It’s difficult to use something in moderation that’s literally changing the homeostasis of your brain however. It creates a situation where things feel dull without it. That makes it a very slippery slope to slide into regular use and addiction with it more than other types of addictions that don’t create that imbalance of homeostasis nearly as fast as weed does.

    • @dawnkelly804
      @dawnkelly804 Рік тому

      I guess I am not in agreement with that - sorry- if you are a Christian it is necessary to die to the flesh - all of those “growing” references are new age & you can label that witchcraft. Any addiction is bondage & should be handled- it is a huge problem that people are not told how awful hell is & they are not told how necessary repentance is. Tickling ears will not protect people from hell. Repentance means that you are sorry & that you turn from sin. Straight up! Making people feel better about sin is not helpful

      Please don’t discount marijauana addiction. It is a real thing. You are lucky you have not formed an addiction. I smoked for 30 years but slowly I couldn’t control it. I was smoking compulsively at 9am right through until 10pm. I had all the things but smoking shamefully in my garage so no one would know was my bottom. It’s my journey. I’m happy that you can manage it. I couldn’t. All the best to you.

      You have to understand you are one person out of billions. Pay close attention to what is said in the video. Every mind is a completely different universe, and I salute you if you can control your substance consumption! There are people out there that cannot. On top of that, it is a fact that marijuana has a detrimental side for your brain! It's not about jobs, money, cars or having a family. It's about the long-term sustainability of brain health!

    I’m 25 years old bro. I’ve smoked weed for 12 years. , since I was 13. Like you the longest I’ve managed to be clean is like 6 monthes bro. This video relate to me so much. I would smoke to go to sleep, smoke on the wake up, smoke before, after work before after the gym and not just a little bit. I would be rolling straight backwoods everytime lol. I would make excuses for myself yeah I’ll stop next week or next month.. next year would come and I’d look back and always regret it. I finally managed to go 15 days now without weed because I’ve realized I’m getting old and these important years are going by.. I’m trying to get into the military. It’s been tough but I can’t fuckin do this to myself anymore. It even messed up my gains in the gym I would skip everyday because I would get zooted and just go to sleep or lay in bed. That led to me breaking promises to myself and losing conifdence within myself.. I couldn’t look anyone in the eyes because deep down I knew I was betraying myself. Listen up fellas, this video is a gem 💎. Good message brother.

Now I'm 22, I lowkey don't wanna brag but I'm in absolutly peak shape with a complete sixpack, doing one arm pull ups and hikes for several days with a like 15Kg backpack. I eat healthy with maby 2 exeptions a week. I got the job I wanted and I get good feedback there. Also, I drank like once a month and now stopped completly.
    The thing is - I still smoke. Sometimes every weekend, sometimes 3 or 4 days in a row and sometimes I don't smoke for a few weeks. And I have to admit that i love it. I love the taste, the smell and the high, but only if it is not to strong.
    I know that I should stop and it would be better for me, but I don't want to. I'm at my peak health, shape and mindset. I want to get to the point where I stop, but I don't know how because I just love to smoke sometimes. How do I get to that point? Since my life is in perfect order, there is no real reason if that makes any sense..

    Hermano este es el mejor video sobre dejar de fumar weed de todos. Y consta que he visto muchos.
    También intenté la moderación pero la verdad creo que es igual y desde mi parte no puedo, simplemente me lo fumo todo y dos hits ya me quita energía, no me concentro en las cosas antes si podía incluso high ahora no se porque no.

      To avoid combustion cook up some cannabis butter , which is very easy to make and cheap too - plenty of info on UA-cam.
      Moderating consumption might work, but if you are using daily I think you need to break the habit first with several months of complete abstinence. That will give your body and mind a break and allow you to rationally decide whether or not to resume your use. There are benefits and there are containdications, but the important thing is to be in control. I speak as someone who has consumed the herb almost constantly for around 50 years. I'm now aiming tlo kick the habit entirely (thirty days at the time of writing).
      All the best in your journey.

      @Nico_Bellick  Рік тому +7

      very cool to see you all debating and keeping a good vibe when it comes to discussing each individual view and situation. Nix, in my opinion, even considering moderating consumption is your subconscious telling you there's something wrong. Kick the habit. Make sure you lower your baseline dopamine and achieve months and ever years under your belt of being completely sober and living a life without vices. After having that under your belt, re-ask the question of wether or not you want to smoke weed. Im 2 months sober now and i can tell you it has changed my life for the better. Think about this: you have already have your share of fun with it, and, weed ain't going nowhere, so, take a couple of years to live a different life, one that has no vices, and then come back to this convo and we can re-ask the question together :D
