Hello everyone! This will be the last episode of our summer adventure. I am happy to report I am fully recovered and Heather and I have since filmed two more upcoming adventure episodes in beautiful locales in New Mexico. I look forward to sharing those with you over the next two weeks. Enjoy!
WOW… 21 hours straight thru, Heather’s a trooper for sure… So glad you’re out of back pain, lets hoe it stays at bay for a really long time (like never show up again)… You two traversed some beautiful scenery, and it looks like the new GFC worked out perfectly. Safe travels
Hi. Sorry to hear about your serious back episode. I've had a number of those in my life & know how bad the pain can be. Glad you've recovered. Cudos on the nature footage of the Cedars Grove with stream & music. Verrry relaxing. 👍. And a shout out to Heather for driving you straight back, thru the night. Well done! 🏆🏆🏆
Thanks for watching this one! I thought about not having any music in the scenes in the Cedar grove but at the end of the day, music made it even more inspiring. I generally feel if I am inspired by a sequence, so will you be. Heather rocks!
Another great adventure and beautify country… all up to the point you were on your back….. So glad to hear you’ve recovered. As always, thanks for taking us along and sharing the journey.
Thanks, Richard. Heather wouldn't let me be sedentary. She got me out there exercising and as it turned out, that helped heal my back more than anything.
Love the videos! I really like the simplicity of the episodes. The scenery is absolutely amazing. Glad your back is healed and I'm ready for more adventures to watch.
Our first time visiting Ross Creek Cedars was in early Spring and we had to park at Bull Lake Road & walk in ~3.5 miles on the snow. We made sure to come back in summer to see it green, it's beautiful both ways but a lot less work to drive all the way in!!
Oh wow, Shovel! That was a long drive in. Hiking in in the snow would be FAR! But, I bet in the winter it was very quiet and peaceful. Post some pics of the grove on the 4XPEDITION Member portal if you get a chance.
Hi, Scott & Heather. Nice trip. I'm sorry you hurt your back. I have had 5 back surgeries. I know how debilitating a back injury can be. It takes a lot of rest to heal. Feel better soon. *TYU*
Great episode Scott & Heather, I loved all the water scenes and awesome footage !!! The first falls you stopped at reminded me of Tahquamenon Falls here in upper Michigan!!!! Absolutely gorgeous and that one part of y'all driving through the country with the music was just like a movie. One of my favorite episodes yet, amazing work ❤
Oh I know how you feel with the back. I been down 4 weeks now. Go do some P.T.. they put you on a stretching machine. I been doing it 3 times a week for two weeks now. Omg how good it feels. Ice and electric shock after. Helps a lot. Beautiful up in them woods. I call that God country.
I had PT scheduled. Trouble is, they couldn't get me in until the beginning of October!! So, I healed it myself and am feeling great now and canceled that appointment.
What a gorgeous video, Scott. A work of art, from the footage to the music and the editing. The shot of you looking up at the sky in the cedar forest and then shooting what you were looking at. I really appreciate the creativity and work you put into all of your videos. What an absolute bummer that happened to your back. Major kudos to Heather Jo for hightailing it all the way back home in a hurry. I'm really glad your back is okay now. How did you injure it? Was it just some crazy thing like getting in or out of the camper? This video was such a treat. I've never been to any of those states and I have always dreamed of going through them. It's still on my bucket list.
Awe thank you for that, Cheryl. I appreciate it. I started editing yesterday at 9am and didn't get up from my chair until 3:30am this morning. That is how committed I am about meeting a Sunday morning deadline to put a video live so people like you can enjoy watching with a morning coffee. Cheers to you!
The National Park Pass is a great deal but if you're 62 or older you are eligible for the Pass for Seniors. It's $80 and it lasts FOREVER. I've used mine all over the West including the Catwalk Recreation Area. BTW, your video of the Gila National Forest and surrounding area inspired us to go there and explore the whole area. New Mexico has become my favorite state despite the fact that I live about 10 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. Thanks.
Hey man, did you guys ever finish your cabin?? I looked through your videos list and didn't see anything. I just noticed in your back round the cabin looked awesome!
Not entirely. We will do another Cabin Living episode soon. We got a bit burned out on cabin build and needed to get out and do some exploring for a while. Thanks for watching!
No. Basically, I was leaning over my tailgate on the truck to grab my 5-gallon bucket cooler and lifted it with my right hand while leaning over the tailgate and felt something go out of whack. It took two days to really kick in. You can actually see the action in this episode.

I know right? Heather is a champ. It was a great trip otherwise.

@@4XPEDITION yup totally understand! But looking forward to seeing it finished if you guys decide to share!!
try the bubble app for your phone to help level the truck.
Will give it a try, John.
Did you hurt your back putting up that new pop-up tent ?
