The culture goes back a long time, adding on it the christianisation process and the the migration of asian tribes that eventually settled among us. I think this also applies to other cultures that were at the crossroads of continents and migration patterns. I don't think it will stand the test of modern times.

It’s only Byzantine influence, the ottomans got their influence from the Byzantines so something like ottoman influence doesn’t exist except for maybe some Turkish words. Also Romania was never under full direct ownership over the Romanian lands.
Dacians are ancestors of valahians...so is ok🙂 and this is a song from Valahia (the South part of Romania today) from Dobruja (Dobrogea) area with a strong bizantine influence... you will notice that the romanian style muzic called ‘Geamparale’ from the same area have the same bizantine influence.

@@alexto06 true, Wallachia in the romanian space was something like Estonia in the USSR, it has nothing to do with the other states/regions, Wallachia had a culture kind of similar to Italy's one, Mediterranean, while Transilvanya and Moldavia were a dark space filled with vampires and werewolves and a Slavic artificial region
