Put an access hatch back where he took it out brother. You can put trim or moulding around it to make it look nice. I mean it's advisable to do it in a side wall next to your shower or toilet, but I don't know what it looks like up there. However, what he cut out is going to be difficult to make it look good anyway, so access hatch with trim looks best in my opinion.
I just don't know what materials you'd have access too in that area. I have to go two hours south to Iligan and pray.
Watch using solvents like bleach. They will corrode seals faster here. Seals>fittings>connections>pipes. Always check in that order to save money.

Bathroom upstairs should be just below dowstair bathroom or laudry area, so as not to be messy in case of leaks
Not practical at all my friend. 1 downstairs CR and 3 upstairs. Houses aren’t designed like that and pipes don’t join one to another by purpose as if 1 is blocked them they are all blocked.
When you own a house repairs and maintenance are a part of it. At least you are in a place where fresh air and probably cheap products to purchase.
Very true. In the UK there are similar problems. No house is ever perfect and things go wrong. It helps us learn, adapt and appreciate. God bless you my friend 😊
It's good to repair the problem if it is just starting, maybe the plumber /mason overlook some small problems...
What will always make me smile in Philippines is when i ask people to do some work or renovation in my house. I am always given then my own hand tools or even power tools as they always cone with limited tools or inadequate tools. Like have just a hammer and nail to remove tiles or concrete when i have a powertool hammer. In your case he will have done a man hole in a very short time with an electric saw.

Home base California, (her) family in northern Luzon Ilocos Norte where we will move to soon. Many family homes across the island so we have plenty of places to visit and stay. Just last year we went to mountains of ABRA and had a wonderful time..

I went to Kananga and it was a really remarkable trip for more than one reason, as you will see in episode 12 of "Ormoc Revisited". You guys are in episode 10. Episode 1 will be released on Monday 3rd April, so I will still have to keep you in suspense for quite a while! LOL

Things happen, lucky not the toilet pipe. As for four up on bike, in Biliran last year saw dad and his six kids on one bike.
Eldest kid only about 9, so some very very young kids. Love when you out for the day, fantastic views.

Adam the current way to go now away from ply and now people are using cement board and most popular because the ease of repairs plasterboard ceilings🤔🤗♥️

We did. It was due to the original plumbing fittings which were not really that good. The second plumber was fantastic and corrected a lot. This problem is something done by the original guy. We will fix it today 😊

Countryside view in UK also as much nice, quiet, clean, good infrastructure and service, I would chose to be in both world , besides I'm not much into excruciating heat in Philippines.
We love both and the heat here is very bearable. The heat in the UK heatwave is actually far more uncomfortable. It gets hotter in the UK at times but it’s dry heat. Here there is always a breeze 😊

Thank you my friend. I would say at the ages your children are it’s perfect to move. It gets harder the older they are. As long as you secure a full education transcript/reports they will be accepted into schools here at their current grade 😊

I wanted to put a wall climbing plant on a boundary wall at our house in Quezon City and the family insisted that we not do that, because snakes live in those kinds of places. That was an eye opener for me 15 years ago. So even in the cities. Take care.
