      Hi Robert,
      Thank you for your kind comment. It makes me happy to hear that you enjoy my videos. The sound of boots on the ground, water flowing, and birds chirping is so relaxing. I'll have to check out the walks up your way someday. I'm working on a few new videos at the moment, so stay tuned. Cheers, Luke

    This was beautiful; I really think you’d enjoy the Piles Creek Loop on the central coast at Somersby if you haven’t already done it… it’s breathtaking! Loads of overhanging rocks, cascades and falls, saw a lyrebird a few weeks ago… just absolutely magical 😍

      Hello! Thank you for watching. Yes, the Piles Creek Loop is also quite wonderful. I enjoyed bouncing along the walking bridge there :)

    Thanks Luke, that was very pleasant. I have been there many years ago. It is the perfect walk on a hot summer's day. Remarkably free of weeds, by the look of it. Yes, walking near creeks is very peaceful. Happy new year to you, keep walking and exploring.

      I'm glad to hear it, Penny Plant. It's such a nice place. Thank you for the comment, I'll be sure to include water features in future videos. Happy New Year to you too and I'll see you in the next video.

    Oh wow! Great video. I was checking some areas to hike and It brought me here! Although I’m afraid to hike by myself. Thanks for sharing this. How long did it take you to finish the whole track? Thanks! :)

      Glad you enjoyed it, Ernest! This hike isn't too long - it takes a little over an hour. It's so peaceful there in the rainforest. I see you've made some great videos on the Central Coast recently - it's awesome to link up with you on here mate!

      @@edyhekul I do like it really! was checking areas to hike, but too afraid to do it alone as I might get lost! haha. So it's good to see you showing us the way. I dont think I am done with Central Coast with so much things to visit and document. I had fun creating those videos. Likewise, awesome to link up with you here. One day - let me document your journey if ever you are organising a group hike or whatever. " Featuring Luke Hyde" 😊

    I found out about this state forest just then when finding locations of a native tree related to Mangoes lol

      Happy to hear that journey led you to this corner of the internet. Welcome! 😆 Who doesn't love a good mango 🥭

      @Isaac-ho8gh Рік тому

      @@edyhekul no worries lol and yeah true, I love Mangoes too much xD
      Although that tree's fruit is potentially unpalatable, I wanna try to get a cutting of one for a guerrilla garden to graft Mangoes and other related fruits onto since its a tough native tree that suits my climate. I'll check out more of the area though!

      @edyhekul  Рік тому +1

      @@Isaac-ho8gh that sounds like quite the adventure! Will there be a UA-cam series documenting your search? 🥭

    • @Isaac-ho8gh
      @Isaac-ho8gh Рік тому +1

      @@edyhekul although I didn't think about that, that's a good idea since I'll likely make a UA-cam channel of me making guerrilla gardens; my fruit hunting, and plant experiments! It might take me long to start doing it since I'm disabled and unemployed but who knows lol
      I forgot to mention this, but the tree is the Bush Cudgerie / Ribbonwood. Its in the same taxonomic subfamily (one rank below family) as Mangoes, they grow kinda similarly to them and its native to many rainforests on NSW's east coast.
