    I wonder how that works compared w Xtrig PHDS . I used it on TE300 and it was pretty useless except “motocross mode” . When landing hard, PHDS helps a lot, but as enduro anti-vibe stuff it did not help even with softest nuts.

    Nice swap! Question #1: Wouldn't the whole handlebar dampening setup have been even better with the AHIS clamps AND the Flex-Bars both installed simultaneously ? Question #2: You've got a clean, sophisticated, and well organized shop and by the looks of it you've got several bikes and good working knowledge of maintenance/repair....likely also a pretty skilled rider/racer. BUT, with all of the trick stuff on your KTM you're still running the stock cast KTM triple clamps (when X-Trig R.O.C.S. and Nekken have the 'factory' billet forged/heat treated/anodized triple clamps available, both at reasonable cost)...Why ? I've seen 3 separate videos from around the world where those triple clamps broke and put the riders in the hospital, one is now paralyzed....and of course, all 3 bikes are destroyed...if it were me, I'd be putting those triple clamps in the recycle bin! Just sayin' .... Still very good video, THX ! : )'

    majority of these products are snake oil......BRP weighs a lot (took mine off, flex bars are also a joke and also weigh a ton), plus any bar mount allowing direct metal to metal connectivity "anywhere" (including mount nuts/bolts) will transmit vibration. The only bar mount on the market with NO DIRECT metal to metal (on the bar itself) is the Mako360, the bars are actually clamped with Elastomer Donuts, however it does not remove vibration completely, the Mako is just better than everything else...downside is they're very expensive.

    You get more shock absorption by reversing them the other way. Most forces are forward and down. They mostly absorb shock by down. The effect is multiplied by higher ape style bars. But as you have it mounted, your shock reduction comes only from jerking the bars reward for a wheelie. I wish he would build one slightly more beneficial to match the angle that most hits encounter. Vibration isolation is not accomplished with this product. The hinge needs go to the rear and the bumper forward to absorb. It's basically a hinge with a bumper. But, it is a good product. It could be made better using this as a pattern

    • @dirtniron
      @dirtniron  5 років тому

      i changed the position already, need to test it, I will share the video soon

    • @martyprice5619
      @martyprice5619 5 років тому

      @@dirtniron It's a good product. Be careful with dropping the bike for "end" bar hits. I'm still looking for a better system. I have broken 3 twisted engineering flex bars. I also have the Mako 360 XC bar mount. I have bad elbows so I need something? I think this style has the most potential if the angle was slightly changed and protected against bar end hit destruction. Taller bars work well because it promotes leverage to work the bumpers

Right outta the gate @ the opener {Loretta Lynn's} 450 class there were (after what seems like forever for Suzuki RMs, RMXs) Max Anstie, Adam Entiknap, and some other guy 1/2/3 outta the gate!! 2 are U.S. 'factory' bikes but Max's comes from the U.K. yet they still all did well and the power was obviously dialed in....would like to see where/how you go with your RMZ, what you come up with!
