Give it time. I think one big reason they aren't more popular is that they don't deal in dogma and they tell people that aren't making progress in the barbell lifts that generally they need to do more, not less and that's a hard pill to swallow. It's like what? You mean I can't get away with doing one heavy set of five because I'm forty or older? Because you can find a lot of coaches telling older athletes this.
Trying out a new intro? I like it! Image quality in this one is excellent, too. As for the content of the video: I know Austin is all about the pain science. I wish even more people heard him on it. I like how he gets across the importance of "Talk less, listen more" here.
Pain is an experience like love is an experience ... can’t measure it, can’t tie it to one thing. That’s the analogy I like, and people seem to get it ... both very real, both defy simple explanation
Me describing back pain: "It's like here..ish.. but like..in some, if that makes sense. Like inside my hip, I think, maybe." I've had the best luck showing the Dr's/Pt's what movements hurt rather than trying to chase down an actual location of the pains, which can be deceptive and elusive.
i trained for 2 years and still cant do 2 chin ups, 0 dips, etc.? all factors outside of training are good. checked by others who are much bigger than me. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Wish I saw this video before I told my wife she was just imagining and having the wrong beliefsystem when it comes to pain. Not recommended and resulted only in more pain. Learning by listening first, not always learning by doing in this case atleast.
Barbell Medicine is GOAT level UA-cam Fitness. How do these guys not have a million subs?

Sound quality is on point in this one! I guess the outro is trying to remind us to sleep more haha
“Sometimes you just gotta let the big dog eat” 😂😂😂
I have to say, I really appreciate the audio and video quality of your UA-cams and podcasts. The content, of course, is great. Thanks for sharing!
I've been with my doctor for a few years, and we've developed an intricate language of grunts and winces to determine my relative pain level.
Return to tradition, caveman communication
Love the hunger analogy. Who am I kidding I love all your content!
