I watched the film yesterday evening, immediately after finishing the book. I recommend the book to everyone: it's terribly painful to read, but it is so important to know about what happened and never forget. The movie is really good too, but I felt like it lacked something compared to the book (which is understandable, considering they had to tell the whole story in so little time). That book was also the first contact I had with Cambodia and what sparked my interest in this country, its people and its culture. I hope I can visit it someday
