hey Kit, you have the be at a certain "close enough" threshold for that button to appear based upon what you have to offer/what the faction wants. if the faction really doesn't want anything about the trade it wont appear.

I liked the idea that she would boost, population growth, happiness, and food income, as well as boost the success chance of all ambushes, while also reducing the chance of being ambushed,
@@Vileurple ya. I think the ambush success chance reflects on her hunter predator nature. And ambush protection chance reflects on her being a protector of home and families.
yeah ive lost my faction leader more than once in battles because of random lethality stuff. It's interesting, but a little tedious. If they toned it down by maybe, idk, 20%, itd be great
I believe you can toggle it down in options. My reflex is to run them straight in to the fray. Now they gotta hang back more. Someone commented to just leave the faction leaders in your cities
i hopw we can have a better AI battle management tool- where the AI do all the micromanagement of units, and we can relax and enjoy, and watch the battle unfolds
@Vileurple yeah pretty sweet but personally I felt india should been a little bigger and should have gotten more trade nodes within the indian theatre as well like in shogun 2 for instance, not complaining mind you just making a note empire is still one of my all time favorite total wars. Yeah I'm waiting for the day where we can a total war game that spans the entire earth and I do mean the entire planet and maybe spans the entire timeline of human history all the way from the beginning of the stone age all the way to the industrial age at least that's my dream total war (Chef's Kiss) lets hope CA makes it a reality someday just look what they did with total war Pharoah talk about an amazing redemption arc.

So the dates are pretty bang on. We also know it's this date as the game includes Ramesses III, who reigned Egypt from that period
Pharao Dynasties is very CPU heavy. I recommend to select "IMMORTAL LEADER" in the game options. I suppose that will deactivate the family tree and this relives the cpu a bit ..

Like Empire-scale Medieval 2-- that'd be dreamy! I think there's a bunch of new mechanics and features compared to older titles so it's hard to hold on to the nostalgia. Still a wonderful update tho!
Is it possible to turn off or adjust the way the Lethality system works? 75%+ of my enjoyment (and reason for) playing a particular faction are the heroes/leaders, and the idea that a random sling shot stone could kill my hero is kinda lame. I understand trying to make it realistic, but at the expense of potentially ruining the enjoyment of a campaign? Or just as bad, of an enemy faction that you were looking at going head to head with, losing THEIR leader and therefore spoiling your chances of destroying them yourself. Kinda busted imho. Thoughts?

Ayooooo! They recently patched to tone down lethality as it relates to generals which really makes the game better. You can now fight with them a bit more but there still is SOME risk they can get killed, just not from some random stone or arrows at full HP. Medieval (and mebe Rome) was prolly my fave, used to be in a multiplayer clan, was so much fun. Torn now between Warhammer 3 (used to play WH Tabletop so that's nostagic) or Pharaoh after their latest updates and cool mods. The Battle Reports are really nudging me back I think haha.
But there are also small factions. If your empire is up and you will be big and in the case of Achilleus. You will then be able to take control of Greece from Mycenae. Crybaby

Can you play the game , with your general as a singal unit , or its only like this with attached in whole unit of 40 companions as bodyguard??.
It will always be apart of contingent but that would be pretty solid

As Wanax you can recruit Paragon warriors or something like that that are beefy, but not necessarily his Myrmidons, Might be a future mod for it tho!
