Please DO YOUR RESEARCH before adopting a bird. They are a LIFETIME COMMITMENT!
I cannot stress enough how heartbreaking this sad truth is.... Too many people impulse buy parrots because of cute or funny traits they've seen in other birds.
A life stuck in a cage is cruel and so unfair to these magnificent beautiful creatures.
They deserve the absolute best!
If you are interested in a parrot, adopt one because you have the time, money, patience, energy and if you want to save them from a life stuck behind bars, not solely because they are cute or funny or talk etc.
Again parrots are a LIFETIME commitment.
They can live up to 80+ years!! Which means they just might outlive you, and where will they go if something happens to you and one day you don't come home? What will happen to them? Who will love them and care for them? All things to consider....
I've given up many many things to give my two parrots and other animals the best life they can possibly have!
It is an honor to share our lives with these amazing creatures.
Please ADOPT DONT SHOP!
Please choose not to buy babies from a breeder who breeds for profit, there are thousands of birds suffering in cages abandoned and unloved waiting in sanctuaries and rescues, for homes to be cared for properly and loved.
PLEASE do your research and educate yourself before adopting, they are a lot of hard work but so worth it if you do things right and do what is best for them.

Lol I’m not. Unknownuser is correct! He’s potty trained ☺️ so he goes back to his catch when he’s gotta go
I'm glad to hear that Gotcha is potty trained especially since birds poop every 15 to 20 minutes.
@@vickyabramowitz2885 oh yes it’s alot little birds are about every 5-10! So it’s really helpful to potty train them when they get to roam all over the house and not make your house a nasty mess

why does your other bird stay caged when gotcha is out
Letty doesn’t come out at often as gotcha because she is a terror and actively attacks everyone when she’s having a feisty day which is 80% of the time.
I let her out to hang out with me as often as I can. Usually when the kids are busy downstairs or outside in the backyard. So she gets to be out alot! She doesn’t roam the floor cause she pursues everyone. Even my dog and gotcha and has jumped on gotchas back to pull his feathers out and separating a bird fight is scary! Gotcha could kill her easily or she could get ahold of his foot and severely injure him and that’s not something I want to happen!
I’ve been working with her for years. She’s a stubborn sassy old girl! Lol
You need to safeguard your floor and carpets from his dropping.
