Kokomo glass is breathtaking. If you think it’s pretty in this video, you should see it in real life- it’s like nothing you’ve ever seen. I almost don’t like to use it cus it kinda breaks my heart to make that first cut! I could just frame the sheets and keep them for myself. I really appreciate every individual piece. I hope you guys know how much joy your glass brings people. You are true artists!

Actually, the inventor of opalescent glass was John LaFarge. A Tiffany contemporary from whom LC Tiffany cribbed *coughstole* the technique for making opalescent glass.

You could make so many different murrine patterns with those sheet scraps and a fusing oven 😱😱😱

Now we use densely colored bars of opalescent glass in blowing operations much like their rolled sheets. Amazing time to be a glass artist. KOG definitely did and still does enjoy that world wide footprint alright.

The Tiffany series sheets are always fun, i have been meaning to ask them if its possible to create those patterns in glass thats compatible with blowing glass. Could be nest to have Tiffany color patterns on my own shapes. Always dis admire their products.

I wonder if they will hire me as a ladler. Ive ladled poured clear glass into ooen faced sand molds to produce solid castings before but never color.
