your drawings seem so full of life! I used to do people drawing in art school but never really managed to capture the action and movement that well. This is giving me inspiration to try again!
that happened the day i filmed this. i pretend to laugh and say 'sorry i can't draw under pressure!' another one i haven't tried is 'you couldn't afford me' lol
“I’m a slow worker and wouldn’t want to hold you hostage.” “Sorry, but I’m only really interested in candid work right now.” “I wouldn’t want you to make you feel bad if you didn’t like the drawing.”
Loved this one! I'll do it myself as soon as possible! Thank you for sharing your process and I loved you left the background sounds of chatting and everything else, I feel like it gives even more atmosphere to the drawings ♥
Wooow, thanks for showing us the process! We always enjoy the finished result but it's also super encouraging and lovely to see HOW you do it. Also, love your style! I might try going people-sketching next time!
How much do you look at a person before drawing? Or how often during the process of? I did this in the park once, and I felt like I was creepy, because I was looking at people so much, but I really enjoyed it and would love to do it again.
I wish I could go out and people draw, but I don’t know how to simplify my style at all, and whenever I do, waiters come up to me and start being snoopy. I cannot deal with it..
Are your lines as hard as they look? Seems like you often skip a light sketch and start picking dark lines and bend the page with the pressure. I broke a lead just watching.
