- Creality 10W Falcon laser module is a great solution for 3D printer owners, who don't want to buy a separate dedicated laser engraver. This 10W module can be installed to almost every Creality 3D printer. From Creality I got the Air Assist kit and honeycomb grid too.

Gonna definitely do this bought a Bambu lab and ender 3v2 has been collecting dust this is a great idea!
Excellent video, very helpful!
this is very informative. thank you so much for this as it will help inform my choice for getting one for my Ender 3 ;)
Great share, excellent.
Well done
You installed the bracket incorrectly. the bracket is hung under the upper rollers and fixed with a screw from below. but otherwise a nice and informative video.
Greetings😊
Hello can u please help me set up my 10 watt laser module in ender 3 s1 pro
@@seyiekhriezonakhro5062 no, sorry haven't done it by myself on a Ender 3 S1...😉
READ BEFORE INSTALL. Do not go cutting and drilling the bracket! It comes perfectly ready for install even with the extruder left on. I will give him some slack though, the instruction booklet doesn't do a great job showing how the bracket goes on.
Amezing stuff and great vid. Thanks.
Could you possibly add a link to the honeycomb bed for me? I have been looking for one for my Ender 3 S1 pro but can’t find one. Thanks

For anyone watching this that dont want to do all the extra cutting and drilling, it is way simpler than this. the mount he has is made to mouth WITH the extruder still on the printer. he has it installed wrong. he has it turn the wrong way. it sits along the the top railing under the back side and clamps in. then tighten the screw under the bottom and it will not move at all!
I just installed a laser on my Sovol SV-06 plus but havent had a change to use it. How does the machine know to use the laser instead of the hot end when laser negraving? I was 3d printing something and it 3d printed and lasered my build plate when it wasnt suppose to . thanks
@@gdub8409you have to switch the cables out evyertime
I actually like the first laser print lol
What type of acrylic you used for cutting? Extruded or casted?
Thanks for helping. 😊
Have a link to that honeycomb bed?
Can these laser cut EVA foam or will it burn it? im planning on using my Ender 3 to create pattern for my cosplay prop
Hello, where buy laser honey bed? I'm looking on internet and I don't see the right size. Thanks ni advanced
I don't like that shield. I feel like it should be hovering 1mm above the surface with no peep hole, and a corridor for the air to get out, but no direct line of sight.
Instead of my laptop/iPad can I use it with my iPhone?
I'm having trouble using the laser, my ender-3-v2 keeps going down (z axis doesn't lock), could someone help me?
Thanks for this awesome video, I have a question, is 10w enough power to engrave in acrilic material for acrilic light lamp? Thanks
Yes
I feel like drilling out the two threaded holes was a much easier fix
Was the honeycomb grid from the 10W/5W Falcon Engraver Accessory Kit, looking at getting it but it shows no dimensions, don't want to get it then it doesn't fit the bed
235mm X 235mm, AliExpress has the Creality one.
good idea, but what a mess of wiring, think they need to sort that out
Thank you and great job on this video!!!
I currently have an Ender-3 S1 and am starting out with a 10W laser module.
I followed your advice, printed your shim with my Saturn S but I could use a little help on the setup whether on LightBurn or LaserGRBL as I am getting beeps and error messages.
Would it be possible to chat to see this together?
Thanks for your feedback.
I can't find the 10w laser on their website
ik this is a longshot, My Engraver Got burnt a while back while cutting a bunch of phone stands in wood, the wood caught on fire... Anyways I got all the parts I need besides the red Magnetic Lense/Sheild that attaches to the bottom of the laser module, I want to 3d print one but need to know the dimensions, more specifically just the height of the red shield, I can measure the laser module for the with, but cannot just guess the height because the beam needs to be focused. If anybody can measure the height of the red Sheild with a caliper and tell me how many mm it is i would appreciate it more than you could imagine!!
Good morning. Thank you for your sharing. I am about to order the 10w laser. Is it delivered directly with the 3 boxes (laser + honey bed + compressor) or do I have to order them in addition? I can't find it on their site...
Those are sold separatly.
"Im not going to install the bracket properly..."
"Theres too much wobble in the bracket so I have to cut it up and drill"
Maybe just install the bracket properly.
Does anyone know why the laser stays on without me giving instructions?
Do you know if the rotary module for the other creality engravers can be used with this adapter?
Yes, they just replace the Y stepper motor. You just have to plug cable to rotary unit.
How do you make sure that the engraving is positioned on the right spot of the material?
Boundary check in lasergrbl or framing in lightburn
which material can you cut with this laser?
Please can I know the link for the honeycomb bed, I’ve searched online for hours for a 200mmx200mm honeycomb bed but I can’t find it anywhere, none of the creality stores in any countries have this, please reply.
What printer do you have? If it’s this one you should be looking for a 235x235. Your print volume is 200x200 but the actual bed size is 235x235.
Where did you get that honeycomb bed (230x230) there's only a 300x300 on creality site ????
This one was in the review package, but I don't know where is it in webshop.
@@MyTechFun OK they ship it to you ? I'm going to ask them if it's available. Do you mind me mentioning you as reference ?
I just bought one at Aliexpress
Thank you very much for the video!
Just an information: did you find air assistance useful in entgraving steel? or is it "mandatory" only for cutting?
Thank you!
Air assist I use ONLY for cutting wood.
@@MyTechFun thanks sooo much!
I can't find that honeycomb bed anywhere. Can you link where you got it. Creality doesn't have it on there site.
On the website in the description it can be found as "10W/5W Falcon Engraver Accessory Kit". I got it too :)
update: it doesn't fit ender 3 S1, lol
can we make PCBs using this...
this is what i want to know!
Can i just buy the engrave module without the control box kit? Did the machine still work?
No. The CV module can only manage 5W from the services port.
Do you know if they make a rotary roller for the ender s1 pro?
You can use rotary roller from Atomstack and connect it here to Y axis cable. With that roller you will get different cables for compatibility with other units
The bracket is installed wrong.
you know what is a better material than both stainless steel and aluminum?.. eyeballs. 👌😆
does it support Ender v3 KE model?
I looking also for the same 3D printer model but I don't know if it's compatible. do you finally try this ?

Just happened to have both the shield and calipers within arms reach lol. Just basic ass calipers, but I got 38mm height for my shield
Can you engrave PCBs?
Not with this laser directly, but you can engrave some cover surface and finish with etching or similar.
8:08 "ah the exact reason I'm here I wonder how he'll fix this"
Mfw this mf whips out the damned drill press-_-
Wow. Anyone who has used a laser cutter with a LID will tell you how important it is to have effective extraction. This is just downright dangerous.
Plenty of test mules in this community to go out and make all the mistakes that drive improvements for the rest of us who wait for the tech become more usable.
I wouldn't use laser on an open ended printer many blinding issues can happen. Fires are also possible.
He knows.
I use mine on a table in my backyard. Plenty of air and low risk of fire.
I have little faith in creality accessories after trying their sonic pad. If anything I’d just buy a standalone unit
I have also bought this the 10w laser
And i made an bracket to attach the motherboard box to my ender 3v2 neo printer
I also routed the cables together with the ones from the 3d printer
Now i just have to undo the z axis motor and limit switch an plug in the ones from the laser that i gave a red zip tie i also have to do it for my y axis motor and limit switch
Then attach the laser plug in the cable
Plug in power to the motherboard and im done it takes max 2 minutes .
And it works exxelent i can engrave everything .metal, glass, plastic, wood stone, leather, everything .with the proper settings
They also give manuals on the sd card like with any creality printer where you can find an diagram for what speed and power you need to set the laser to for engraving all kinds of matterial and also an diagram for cutting some matterials
I am pretty happy with it and the air assist u only need it with wood and different matterial than may burn a little .
Why would you make a video like this and not do your research enough to even mount the laser bracket the right way?
yeah no... lasers on an open machine in a normal, non actively ventilated room seems like a really bad idea...
😆
This is a demonstration.
@@dangerous8333 and it's advertised to people who might not know better and use it just like this...
