I still love the fixed magazine on my LCS SK-19 .25 cal. I can see how some would want a removable magazine and that's cool that they made it but not worrying about loosing it or forgetting it at home when I have a job to do is also very convenient. I wouldn't mind buying the rattler in .30 cal or 35 cal but until Bidenomics gets out of the way it will have to wait. This sidewinder looks like a water gun. Pretty crazy. Might help keep the leftoids off your back while working...Great idea! BTW when I had the LCS in .22 the reg was left @145 Bar but was able to get 6 mags per 250 Bar fill with 8-9 clicks from 0 and sending hades 16 gr pellets @ 910 fps. The pressure did often drop to 125-130 Bar on the reg and bottle. The gun performed flawlessly. Hope that helps.
Shoutout to Alamo Airguns, a real candy store for the sport and great guys. I’ve purchased an Akela and FX Mav compact with an Immersive 14x50. Shooting steel in the backyard at 25 meters off of a tripod and lawn chair with my girlfriend and plinking tiny groups all day long
They will do whatever scheme you want. I hadn’t seen a compact up close before this one and I was stunned at how the body panels enhanced the look. To me that would be a “must have” regardless of color.
Thanks for another in depth review. As you said in the video the rifle was set a little hot for pellets. This particularly I would think for shooting iguanas in the suburban setting. I would be wanting to see the Hades pellets going at about 860 fps for 26 fpe. It would have been nice in your review to know what the rifles shot count was on the lower setting. I have an MTC Optics zero eye relief scope and personally I don't like having to jamb your eye up into the cup and it tends to be harder to get good eye alignment too. The Hawke Airmax scope is a good reduced eye relief scope for a wider field of view but with it you can't film through it using a Side Shot and look through it at the same time. Since this rifle has an removable magazine and Alamo is 3d printing some of the parts for this rifle they should come up with a 3d printed speed loader. Particularly with the cost of extra magazines.
Solid review, I have the .22 long version s/n 00022, fun to shoot. Luckily we have the bases covered (air independent "Alkin" and "JSB") You do a good job at explaining the tech stuff. I like the fact that I can turn down the knob in back, and l launch at 640fps to keep the noise down and get a ton of shots with the 580cc bottle. But I am kind of wanting a 2nd. .25 shorty. I think I will also paint a moderator orange for back yard stuff.
Finish looks great, but not really liking the "super-soaker" color scheme. Maybe Tonka Truck yellow??? Nice to know that a place will do cerakotes for airguns. More interested in the service than the rifle. Nice review PJ
Thanks. As soon as I saw it I knew it was the kind of rifle that made a statement, and people would love it or hate it. But as announcements go…it certainly catches the eye. This wouldn’t be a color scheme I’d pick for me, but there is utility in the pest control world for having a rifle that’s less, well, all black. And in most people’s eyes, brown wood doesn’t help much either. I’ll definitely be sending something to Alamo for coating!
We knew it was going to be polarizing! That’s what we want. But ultimately it’s just as PJ said, it’s just a piece of artwork to demonstrate the potential of what we can do. We do value your feedback though and would love to hear more from people like you on what you might like to see.
@@malex9447 typically we try not to coat anything that has flex or give because then it won't adhere properly. The other thing would be bottles/tanks just for ease of inspection/reinspection though technically we can cost those as well.
Slide the Top Rail back.. It's Dovetail. Then you won't have to off set the scope mount so far back. Yes you will lose the barrel pic rail but it's actually so much better. BTW.. this gun has no shroud in stock configuration BUT.. if you slide the top pic rail back an FX Impact 500mm shroud fits perfectly!!! (You will have to enlarge the rear shroud cap hole to 15mm). A shroud and a good moderator definitely tames the Bark on this gun.
Nice video! Couple of questions/concerns. At this price level (for me) I would like to see a 2-stage adjustable trigger, a better shoulder piece, and it should have better accuracy out beyond 30 yards (although that might be possible with pressure adjustments and/or different pellet brands), IDK. Also, how easy is it to rebuild? IE, crap load of o-rings and/or special tools? Thanks
@@Mike-hb4pc I’m not sure how feasible making the trigger 2-stage would be with this semi/auto design. I agree that I’d like a different shoulder piece. It’s not uncomfortable in use, but it isn’t awesome. I think if you experimented with more combinations of speed and pellet you’d find a better combination, and if it were my daily shooter you can bet I’d put in the work. There are certainly lots of people who like the platform.
🤠 hello Wisconsin air gunners… This is your fan from Boise, Idaho… I always enjoy your videos… I ended up with a Daystate huntsman revere … 22 ….. I totally agree with your colorful rifle being not so threatening… I will probably do that too one of mine in the near future… Currently I am modding a multi pump 392 …. I finally got agitated enough to just build all my own stuff for it… I don’t understand why Crossman sits on the most functional… In my opinion… Product on the market and refuses to bring it from the 50s to the modern world… It has plenty of power, and it’s very light weight and it’s short and easy to carry… But they need a built-in scope rail and some decent iron sights for back up… Come on Crossman/Benjamin… But enough of my ranting… I don’t mind that they make them out of plastic… In fact, that’s where your color scheme Might be handy… Colorful plastic stock… Or camo… Or whatever… for exactly what you’re talking about… I’m non-threatening work around neighborhoods and people… It’s not so bad out west because most of it is ranches where you get jobs… And you’re far enough out of town where people are used to it… But like down in Florida hunting iguanas in downtown Miami … I am imagining that people do you little bit nervous… Siri is screwing with my text clearly so I’m gonna cut this one off… The daystate is a killer, but it’s a lot of support gear… And pump and it’s heavy. But does shoot great? … OK… I’m giving up on Siri… You guys have a nice day… Thanks for all the awesome video.❤️🙏🏻🇺🇸✌🏼
If the intention was to get me to focus on the color scheme. They achieved that 100%. I actually found myself observing the high quality because of the contrast between parts. I've never seen such a horrible color in my life. They could have at least made it red, white and blue! Nevertheless the rifle is excellent and the finish (not color) is outstanding.
Very nice ill definitely buy this pcp platform it has the same roller bearing mag wheel and mag design as the Leishy2 the hammerles technology like the Huben-k1 the fully auto select fire like the Lcs Sks-19 so it's basically all the best in one with a REMOVEABLE mag which is genus and saves Western Airguns from a patent lawsuit ✌
If you think that you've seen everything on tactical PCP hypes, this shows up 😂😂😂 Not even in black it will be my cup of tea but thanks for making me laugh buddy....👍
I can't make my mind if it looks like a lego or a Nurf gun... either way the looks are not for everybody's taste (no for mine at least). Shitty looks for a great gun (I thought) then I realized that is made for Iguana hunting... not to freak out pensioners and Karens at populated Areas.... Clever!!
It’s definitely a love it or hate it color scheme. I do think there are some applications where The bright colors would be positive, and I respect the opinions of those who see it the other way.
first time I have seen you review a super soaker!

@WiscAirGunners I'm like what Henry Ford said they can have any color as long as it's black.
Great video, thanks for creating and sharing. And no, your videos are not too long. They're super informative and beneficial.

Agreed. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a squirrel or iguana run away because of the color of my rifle. Pigeons and crows on the other hand…
How much do the rifle cost, please reply.
