I love Ball. I had 2 engineer hydro carbon originals. The 40 and the 42. I sold them to keep experiencing other watches. The 40mm Original is the watch I still wish I had. I'll buy another one when they update it. Would LOVE to see an alarm on that diver.
@ I do. I own an Engineer III King. It’s kind of my go to watch as it has the day, date and lume!!! But I also own other brands, Rolex, Tudor, Zenith, Omega etc. I’ve always liked the Ball brand and been looking for a new one and was close to getting a Roadmaster and then this landed with an alarm. Wow.
Love it, sounds like a great collection! I have not had the pleasure of owning Rolex or Zenith. I love both brands but with Rolex selling @ 25% over retail and the Zenith Chronomaster Sport coming in at almost 11K they are just a bit out of my budget at the moment. With that said I do own Omega, Breitling and Tudor and while I almost always have the Speedmaster on when I do reach for something else most of the time it is my Ball Victory Fireman which speaks volumes for Ball as a brand. I must admit though I thought 6K was going to be a hard sell for the Model A so I am very happy to see it selling! Congratulations, I hope you get a ton of joy wearing it!
@ Thank you for your kind words. I think it is a hard sell at the price (I’m sure they’ve not all sold yet which is quite revealing). And I know I’ve made a bad ‘financial’ decision. But I do own some great watches that have appreciated which makes up for a few that have depreciated. But ultimately as a true watch lover, I always think it could be worse… I could just as easily drop £80k on a BMW that loses £40k in three or four years so what’s a few grand on a watch that will give a lifetime of pleasure! In this game it’s personal and I’ve never cared about the crowd. Until I retire and get my IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar my collection is all but done for now. (maybe!)
I used to feel the same way but it has really grown on me. Most of their watches can be purchased without the rainbow though. Thank you so much for watching!
What a beautiful watch! It's a GMT, it's an alarm watch, AND it's waterproof to 100 meters? Oh, and it's luminous?!!! Whaaaat? I want one!!!
Me too but I don’t have an extra 6k laying around! As always, thank you for watching!
That bell sound is awesome!!!
It is pretty cool!
That’s a beauty! Nice job bro!
Thank man! Have a safe trip, see you Tuesday.
Thanks
nice review!
Thank you so much, I truly appreciate you taking the time to watch and leave a comment!!!!!

I’m with you, I am a big fan as well and the 40 would be the one for me also! Thank you so much for watching!
Nice review. I have mine on order.
Thank you so much! That is awesome, do you own other Ball Watches?

The BMW is a great point, I am going to use that on my next watch purchase to keep from getting thrown out of the house, lol!
Very cool piece, too expensive for me
It is a very cool piece for sure and I agree it is very expensive. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment!
I lost faith in gas tube tritium lume back when I was a LumiNox fanboy. They definitely dim over time quicker than the stated 25 years.
I am going to have to agree with you on this one!
Awesome watch, but that multicolored lume creeps me out for some reason. Don't know why.

@@griffn14 I’ve just checked the order page and you can now choose it in ‘classic’ lume colours (green and orange).
@@Shavo1958 That's a much better option, does not trigger my OCD 👍
