One of my favorite music Autobiographies. Midge known mainly for his work with Ultravox and Live Aid single etc. This is an updated version of the book.
I am a fan of Ultravox, and my brother and I saw them at Sheffield City Hall 25/11/1982. They had additional keyboard support from the support group The Messengers. The performance of the songs was great, but there was very little rapport between the songs. Midge also struggled to reach the high notes on Vienna. Midge is a nice guy, but I've never been interested in his solo career. One of the best Midge Ure related albums is Ghosts Of Princes In Towers by The Rich Kids. They were going from 77 to 78 and also featured Glen Matlock. The three pre Midge Ure Ultravox albums featuring John Foxx are all great too.
