I saw her in concert four years ago opening for Red Hot Chili Peppers and I must say when I heard her sing and watched her dance all over the stage, I was so incredibly illuminated by her energy. Although it was obvious that not a lot of people knew the band in the crowd, everyone was rocking out and asking who they were. I have been a fan ever since. Anytime I hear her voice it sticks with me the entire day. She's just incredible the band obviously has so much respect and their music is beautiful as well and backs her up in such a great, inspiring way.

Same thing happened to me went to St. Louis To see the Red Hot Chili Peppers and at first I didn’t think of anything when I heard that little dragon was going to open for them it finally clicked when I saw her jamming on stage
I love how they're all reciting the lyrics under their breath, obviously enjoying their music very much; which makes them all that more lovable. Not to mention talented of course.
This is just an observation, but it's amazing how little she movies her lips and the overwhelmingly beautiful voice that comes out of them. It's like she doesn't even try. She can't be real!

I saw them while working at lalapalooza about 8 years ago. As soon as I heard them I shot over to where they were playing. Some groups you can tell immediately have something special going on. This is definitely one of those bands. While they haven’t hit it big. I do hope they are satisfied that they have a lot of stalwart fans. I can’t wait for them to play near where I’m at.

All these comments for the singer but that pianist is absolutely fantastic. Such emotion. That ending track is really from the soul. That type of playing can't be taught in schools.
I am bothered how little people in the cities smile. So stressed, angry, confrontational, certain and high-strung. They should listen to Little Dragon a bit more.

I love this group so much, you can watch them for like 5 minutes and feel the good videos from them, they work together so well it's no wonder why they have such an amazing sound. All around great team.

Yukimi has the voice of a goddess
genius group love her voice - she's one of those singers that is distinguished by using her hand gestures and she is simply fascinating - they're from Sweden and went into seclusion during the pandemic I had bought tickets to see them play at the Paradise Theater here in Boston that was cancelled with all concerts - live music hit the wall 🧱

They are also raised with Western, English-speaking media (songs, children's shows, advertising, movies) which makes it much simpler for them. I've been living in Holland for the past three months and have found that, while English is a mandatory subject in their educational system, many of them had a head start because of the aforementioned reason. That's why I've been watching Dutch children's shows :P

I've seen many artist live and when I saw Yukimi live her voice and the band sounded even better live than the audio tracks. So so amazing!

Been a fan for a long time. Stumbled across them on iTunes and then when I heard "Wildfire" I loved them even more. Never googled them or UA-cam'd them. I always thought the vocalist was black...I'm surprised!
whenever i want an out of body experience and i run out of drugs, i listen to little dragon. i'm so glad the new cd is as great as the others, they're probably one of the best acts of the decade and they don't get the attention they deserve.

I found it funny reading so many hating comments about Lil wayne and Justin Bitchface etc when I'd never actually heard their songs. So I just listened to a bunch of em and can confirm they really are god awful!!!! some people don't really care what they're listening too though I guess, loads of slags just want to hear a familiar sound with simple lyrics they can sing along to and not really question the intentions of the artist... well ah-piddy-tha-fooo!
In another time there was a thing called Radio and it used to be kinda cool because, while it always found time to play hits, it could also be counted on to push new, exciting music forward. But that was a time before a few major corporations bought up the stations and homogenized the playlists to the point where ya hear the same fucking 5 songs over and over again.
The Internet is the radio now. You got to wade thru a lot of shit. But when you find a band like Little Dragon it is so worth it.

IMO placing vocalist on the pedestal is just not fair to other band members. That's what im trying to say. And I think you kinda did that when you appriciate "her music".

I think it has a kinda comical side to it, the lyrics are kinda about, just you know , being obsessed with the idea of being happy, with having everything financially and i think that's, something that we're fed all the time. You know, having everything in that sense, doesn't nesesarily make anything perfect.

@sammerro I will break this down for you because you are not a musician if I write a song but the band creates the beat arrangement which I choose if that fits my style. The lyrical composition is my piece copyrighted by me but the musical arrangement or composition is a joint effort in copyrights. Unless I say okay I take executive production it is all me. Which the roots do. The roots are a band famous btw world renown. Please man calm down okay it isn't so serious enjoy the music.

It was clear if you read the other comments bro. She is the lead singer thus she gives the sound with the voice and that is what I was responding on. I am actually trying to collaborate with the band on some hiphop mash up alternative neo soul/ roots vibe. I am a writer and not dumb man. 35 people understood my meaning.

I will give you the definition I will explain slang American slang for that matter."ill" like a person is sick, sick mean really good. The word "whip" means car in street slang."Banging" means playing it loud. "Dope" is similar to the word ill meaning really good. There you have it some american street slang 101 for you mate. The group is extremely talented. If you visit the U.S. try it out.

Man she is so fucking ill! Her music is beyond amazing I have been banging her album hard in my whip. She has something unique it's music like her or bats for lashes another group that makes me say why the fuck is this not on MTV or VH1. Her music every song is good and original. She is a really dope lyricist and the beats fit perfect. I am a new fan.
