      That could go 2 ways
1 ) break you mentally and drop any confidence you had or were gaining and cause you to just give up on boxing period
2.) bring a dog out of you that you didn’t even know you had and say eff that , this ain’t gonna happen no more . Start working harder than ever and become a real mf problem for anyone who stands in front of you .
Either way this ain’t cool . The point of sparring is to work on technique and get some good work in at the same time . With someone on your level while slowly and I mean slowly increasing the level of competition. Sadly this was not work for either one of them , dude could really have gotten hurt . It’s the fight business and dangerous but when you put a guy in their that you know is levels below another is senseless . Everyone their made a bad call and should be embarrassed at what took place as well as the guy in the blue . He knew damn well who curmel was and knew he shouldn’t have been their . Your case was prob a little different as you probably were in their with someone who didn’t have a name but found out quickly he was no amateur .
Sparring has gotten out of hand these days . And posting these sessions is a bunch of b.s. used to be a unwritten code about that and was understood across the board no matter what gym or part of the world you were in . Now it’s become the norm . It’s just unnecessary damage on both guys . And just pointless as no money is even being made ….. he could have broke a hand and then what , the bag goes out the window till he heals up. All for nothing .

Let me inform you on the situation team red has his guard up and sides protected and on top of that his stance makes it hard to hit him and the best way how to get him is if blue team starts in-fighting but rn he has to play operation turtle until he can find himself an opening or a way how to make one

He’s clearly working on getting his punches off at a distance, which doesn’t require of his partner to hit back. That’s why it was only 30 secs.

Non-stop chatter from the corner is one of my pet peeves as a fighter. I understand it's coming from a good place (most of the time) -- but we can't focus on the task at hand while taking in that much auditory input. It stifles our flow and rhythm. A few key phrases maybe, and then let us know what we need to fix when we get on the stool between rounds.
