Loved ,Loved this video I want a long arm so bad , but can't get right now , I bought the Solaris because It did edge to edge , when I should have just bought the long arm bahhhhhh to me , my next will be a long arm .
I am so excited as my Amara on a 10’ frame has arrived and getting set up next week. I can’t wait to try all the rulers and practice. Would love to win a skinny ruler!!
Without your videos, my Moxie would be sitting idle. I never miss a lesson and always learn something as I am new to long arm quilting. Thanks for sharing all the tips, tricks, and so-much-needed instruction.
I just recently bought my long arm. It was delivered last Thursday - it sits in the other room unused as I remain intimidated :-) your videos are helping me a lot. I think tomorrow I might even turn it on ha ha.
Although I'm not new at using the Handi Quilter, I am just trying to learn to use rulers. My machine is old & doesn't even have a stitch regulator so I struggle with that.
As you start watching videos, remember that most of the techniques are similar between stationary machines as well as frame mounted so watch them all!!
Hello from Florida, Just purchased my Handi Quilter Simply Sixteen with the 10' frame.. still getting used to it and will take all the tips I can get!! Thanks for your channel
I love quilting with rulers to do stitch in the ditch or make an outline or frame and then FMQ from there. I'd love the ruler you used because it is much longer than the one I have now.
Thank you for all your videos. I’m new to Handi Quilter and love my machine. I’m doing lots of practice pieces and your videos are a great tool. Watching this video informed me I was using my ruler wrong. Thank you.
So it is to rule or not to rule. As queen of my quilt I will always doubt between ruler or free motion, I have no PS. My character tends to free motion, but my ability to rulers. Thank you for all your good education video's, watched in the Netherlands.
Useful tips. Since I did freemotion only for 15 years, I do find it quicker in some areas but my hands aren't as steady as they once were (age 75 now) so rulers are a necessity at times!
Thank you for your tutorials. I look forward for them every week they're very helpful. Using rulers gives me more confidence but I keep practicing on my free motion skills.
I just finished a quilt using free motion and ruler work. I love both and agree with you, free motion is faster but ruler work is precise! Thanks for your informative and entertaining videos!
I love how you show both techniques and to a newbie to free-motion quilting and rulers I really appreciate all the tips and demonstrations that just make me want to go try everything without fear!
Kristina and Kim, It is so much fun learning with you two ladies! I can hardly wait for the next episode! I really miss the videos when Ruler of the Month was in effect. I am trying to do Free Motion quilting and ruler quilting. I have a Handi Quilter 16. Happy Quilting!
I too am a fairly new longarmer. I love all your videos, but I certainly find your info on tips & tricks to longarm ever so helpful. Thank you so much ladies.
I am very new to ruler-based quilting - bought the rulers (fave is the Versa-tool) and used the straight & curved side to do a table runner on my domestic but life gets in the way of me practicing more than that. Now that I've installed the conversion kit on my "new to me" HQ Sweet 16 sit-down, I'm excited to do more!
I’m fairly new quilter and find I’m better at ruler work than free motion. All my quilt work is done on a computerized domestic sewing machine. I envy quilters that can do free motion work. Thanks for your demo.👍❤️😊
Just starting my quilting journey. ❤
Great job. Looks great
I do both. Thanks from Alaska

Diagonal straight lines done free motion? Way to go!!

Thanks for the demonstration. It was good to see that you were quilting fairly slowly. My mind thinks it should super fast but it isn’t.

You make this look easy!
I have so much more to learn.
So it is to rule or not to rule. As queen of my quilt I will always doubt between ruler or free motion, I have no PS. My character tends to free motion, but my ability to rulers. Thank you for all your good education video's, watched in the Netherlands.
Do you live in the Netherlands or just visiting? I will be teaching there in June!! -Kristina
Fun quilt off!
loved to see how easy it was to change direction using that little ruler, great job.
Love rulers! Mostly because my free motion is Eh at best!
Thanks for all your work to help fellow quilters 😊
I loved this video. I do mostly free motion on my longarm, wish I felt more confident with rulers. Thanks ladies for your teaching.

Always love to see what you two are up to! Thanks so much for the inspiration, I learn a lot from your videos..
I too am a fairly new longarmer. I love all your videos, but I certainly find your info on tips & tricks to longarm ever so helpful. Thank you so much ladies.

So much fun!! I love both equally, the freedom of free motion and the precision of ruler work!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Thank you for showing us the contrast. I make prayer quilts at Church and would love to try the ruler.
You make all of these quilting choices look so easy. Thanks
I definitely have to think about it before hand!!!
Just learning. Trying both methods.
