So exciting, thank you! I may have to finish up Job and skip over to Daniel for a while so I can follow along with this.

I agree this should be great. What I do with these, is I have my own reading I do throughout the week, usually I work my way through the books in order, this keeps me on schedule, and I am less likely to fall into reading just my favorite books and ignoring others. Then for these sermons I get my bible out and follow along, and then flip to all the other places they send me. Of course you can do you, but I find it works well to read at my own pace and then switch to the sermon chapter when these upload.
If you have never read Danial before, then I would fully recommend reading it first so these sermons can be a refresher. I really like to try and form my own ideas and conclusions, then let Matt or David, add to those thoughts, as they often add things I missed.

@@colmortimer1066 I've read it more than once. But I can't claim to have a good grasp on it! I've been working my way through the OT and was up to Job. I was just going to keep going in order. But I think I am more than 1/2 through Job, so I should be able to get that done before the next installment of this. I think I'll finish Job and skip on over to Daniel and then go back. Daniel has always been difficult for me, so it will really help to have a chapter by chapter guide. Shout out to Pastor Matt! We appreciate you so much!

@@Yesica1993 Yea, I would not claim to have a good grasp of it either, and I always learn a lot here.
Honestly, I found Job to be one of the toughest books for me, I'll probably be reading it again in a few weeks.

Oh, you don't have to convince me that we're being assimilated to an anti-biblical worldview. I feel it every minute of every day. It is truly exhausting. It's even harder when your family has little interest in God at all. I'm constantly having to go mentally back and forth between these two worlds. To be honest, I'm really reaching the end of my rope. I feel like my mind is being shattered into little pieces.

Keep praying, I am at present having to deal with my son who has totally different theological positions and it's very tiring and disappointing and he is only one of my three children to be saying he's a Christian and it is threatening our relationship. We have to pray and preserve.

Thank you for the history lesson. Since the beautiful Jewish women were married/raped by the Babylonians, and Jewishness is defined by one's mother, could some descendents of the Babylonians be "Jewish" and some of the "remnant" and those Jews whom eschatology talks about.
