At the time I had no idea why Robin reacted that way. Looking back, other than the obvious "oh shit I'm caught", this is the moment her final glimmer of hope is snuffed out. She knows it's impossible for the strawhats to win against this threat and she's putting them in danger by staying with them any longer. It's time to say goodbye. Only... the Straw Hats do achieve the impossible 💪
