As a Cards fan, I'm really hoping that we can go into the valley and leave with a win. I don't care if it's by a point. Clemson has been slept on and are good in all phases of the game from offense, defense, and special teams.
as Clemson fan , we need to be well prepared for Louisville, I love my team but I’m nervous about how we will play against our first quality opponent since Georgia , going to be interesting match up
Yes, the two offensive lines played similar in that game, I would guarantee you Miami’s often the line is more talented and a better off of the line and would outplay Louisville most of the time
Clemson has respect for Louisville. If we lose, it won’t be because we took them lightly. Clemson has been showing improvement each week and so far the injuries haven’t been a large problem. The games have allowed Dabo to play a lot of players and this is how we build depth. After a week off , I suspect that Dabo will have a wrinkle or two. He likes to put some things on tape that future opponents have to prepare for. One thing that the Tigers are doing this year is taking the ball away and running the ball successfully.
Yea. But I'm sure the crowd will be rocking. Louisville's has lost a lot of close games to Clemson. But, Clemson has also kicked Louisville's ass. Hopefully my cards can finally pull it out. But I think Clemson has too much water
The Louisville insider can't get Miami out of his head. He thinks the trenches of Miami and Louisville are similar. He uses sacks to justify his comparison. What he leaves out is that Louisville blitzed heavily to get pressure while Miami rushed just 4. Secondly, Cam Ward holds the ball a long time trying to create big plays, which increases his sack total. On the flip side, Louisville ran a mostly quick passing game with short and intermediate routes. Extra rushers and how long the QB holds the ball skews the sack stats. Miami ran the ball 40 times for 219 yards, while Louisville ran the ball 21 times for 106. Looks pretty even in average yards per carry. However, Louisville ran the ball 20 times for just 63 yards. Their other run went for 43 and a TD because Miami had a bust in DL gap integrity. It wasn't Louisville's blocking (watch the film) that created the big run. Miami had 2 players in the "A" gap leaving the "C" gap wide open. If one of those players fills the correct gap, that play goes for little to no gain. Without that 1 play, Louisville averaged 3 yards per run. That's not exactly moving the DL off the ball. The insider continues to brag that Tyler Shough threw for more yards than Cam Ward. He is 100% correct. What he doesn't tell you is that Shough threw the ball 19 more times completing 10 more passes than Ward for a 25 yard differential. If Ward threw the same number of passes as Shough, based on Ward's completion percentage ad average yards per completion, Ward would have gone 34/51 for 509 yards blowing away any comparison of the two QB's passing yards. With that said, I hope Louisville beats Clemson.
Because when you look at the UGA game that game was a chess match for two quarters. And the only reason it got away from them was self inflicted errors offensively. Clemson has sense been just rattling through games offensively with little issues. And the answer to the lesser opponents aspect just compare this teams performance to last years team against lessor competition. It is night and day
Ask yourself who is often the line would you take Louisville or Miami? Nobody in their right mind would pick Louisville. Miami didn’t have a great game first Louisville and Louisville played a good game. Miami’s often align is way more talented than Louisville.

Great show! Keep grinding

Canes fan. Love your show!
Who are the Cans?
@ wym?
Miami
Canes fans can be mad, but the line play was similar. Ville is talented.

What were the running stats for both teams? That's part of the comparison also.

@@kingadalou You’re right about crowd. These days I just watch on tv because the noise makes my head hurt.
I'm anxious to see how Clemson's D fares against L'ville in comparison to Miami's D.
Dabo seems to stop what a team is good at.
Miami gave up what 40? I'm betting Clemson holds them to 20. Final Clemson-38 Louisville 21
Clemson isn't going to sleep on anyone. We know the issues.
Pressure on Shough is key to stopping Louis.
Clemson is very good on both sides of ball ,going to be hard to win at the Valley
Also it's a 7:30pm kickoff. Gonna be rockin
I cant wait… go tigers

Cade has also only played 2 full games this season he’s easily the better qb in this game argue with a wall
Why is the Louisville
guy so cocky? Doesn't make sense.
In what way was he cocky?
Name a good team Clemson have defeated. The only good team they played destroyed them. So why do they get so much high praise for beating nobodies???
Why do texas and miami get so much praise for beating bad teams… we cant help our schedule

What are you blabbing about?
The lines were not close in Miami vs UL fans at all Miami generated ton more pressure and offensively was more successful than UL
Louisvilles line was also injured. The best linemen wasn’t in the game. But that’s fine.
Man Clemson the better team , there defense will kill Louisville
Their offense will kill Louisville
