That was right after Brett won the world title. He said he would take on all the comers and I remember seeing that on WWF superstars. Virgil wanted a title shot, so Brett gave him one. That handshake is from the start of the match before they started wrestling.
No matter where these guys were on the card, from bottom to top, these guys all gave their lives and bodies to entertain us fans. Virgil with Ted Dibiase was entertaining back in the day. RIP Virgil 🙏

😢😢😢 damn. This is why i took Sting retiring so hard. Virgil is gone. Childhood gets slowly chipped away. Thank you Virgil as a Black kid myself growing up watching WWF. Someone to look up. Along with the Mr Ts and Ron Simmons of the world. Rest in power, brother
My favourite moments about Virgil was when he turned against Ted DiBiase at Royal Rumble 1991 , helped Roddy Piper to his feet at Wrestlemania 7 and won the million dollar belt at Summerslam 1991 and helped Texas Tornado beat DiBiase . Though times were tough for Virgil after that he proved tough times don't last but tough people do . Rest well Virgil and also Rest Well Ole Anderson who we also lost recently .
A lot of people didn't like you Vigil, and downgrade the weight of the Million dollar belt.. Buy its a very difficult industry.. wrestling and entertainment.. You got my respect, Virgil.. Rest in peace!! 🙏 🙏 ❤❤
I'm letting everyone know on UA-cam Channel that Michael Jones was really born in 1951not 1962. He told Vincent McMahon that he born in 1962. Ted Dibiase didn't even know Michael Jones was born in 1951. I'm just letting know about it right here on UA-cam Channel for sure!
I had the pleasure of meeting him and million dollar man I remember my little sister dropped her Teddy and virgil picked it up and gave it her back and u showing me the million dollar belt then we got a photo I will forever keep rewatching the good old golden era of wwf u are a legend ❤️
1:21 Wow - only Hitman remains from this team. Not-so-fun fact: 3 Survivor Series teams are entirely deceased 1) Survivor Series 1988 - Curt Hennig, Dino Bravo, Harley Race, Rick Rude, Andre the Giant 2) Survivor Series 1990 - Ultimate Warrior, Hawk, Animal, Kerry Von Erich 3) Survivor Series 1991 - Big Boss Man, Hawk, Animal
I’ve been questioning that. Glad it’s finally clarified. I said to myself, no way was he around 27 when he first took on the “Virgil” gig. He looked way too old in the late 80s.

Virgil has 2 Wrestlemania moments beating Ted DiBiase via count out at Wrestlemania 7 and helping Roddy Piper to his feet at that event and getting the pin in an 8 man tag match at Wrestlemania 8 .
