Thanks for the video. The rocket mode works fine with mine. I checked every mode, worked great and flew back to the starting point. The tracking mode worked well, it tracked me while I walked through the park.
The altitude is flying a the height above your subject. If your subject is 300 feet AGL, your preset altitude of 393 feet, will automatically add the 300 feet of your subject, giving you a total altitude of 693 feet AGL. Which, is totally legal in part 107 rules. You can fly up to 400 AGL above you subject. We do this with tower inspections. E.G. A tower that has a total height of 1005’ AGL, you can fly 400’ above that tower. So automation is calculating your subject height factored into to your preselected height, and it’s internal logic says “oh we want to fly at xxx height above the highest point of the subject.
Explained nice and in detail. Thanks. With my Nano+ I haven´t seen this problem yet, but I think, all "rocket tests" i´ve done were before FW-Update 1.1.14. I´ll try this evening again ( time shift of germany to you :-) ) and let you know.
@@AtortAerials Hello, now I´ve done some Testflights only with the Quick-Shot rocket and.... the height in all flights has not been exceeded. The first two shots I set the height to 100m and startet at a level of 45m. Both flights the Nano endet by 75m ? Then I got down to 25m to start the rocket again, set it to 100m and it stopped in all tests at 100m or, if set to, at 90m. So it was ok, I had not be worried that my Nano was flying up to the endless air :-) There seems to be a difference between some Nano´s. Now I'm curious on the experiences of other testers. Greetings from germany , Thomas
This would be good for real estate reveal shots. But the orbit won't show the horizon. My E2P has two orbit modes, one that will allow for the horizon.
On Rocket mode I wonder if it doesn't mean absolute feet but how many feet it should rise. So, if you are at 250 ft and you select 300 it thinks you want to rise to 550 feet. Do have the maximum height limited in settings?
If this is your short video I'd hate to see one of your long ones. 10 minutes before we get to the actual topic. But we do know you're going to Hawaii and you forgot your SD cards. Awesome.
Also mind you everyone doesn't do this for their living making UA-cam content. I have about a thousand other things that come before this priority wise caring for real people with real diseases and loads of life. Have a good one thanks for watching . :)
Always use a strobe light it will help you see it greens a great color
Cool windmill! Perfect subject to test the quickshots
I think so too....works well and is actually pretty enough. Rocket mode just wanted to sail into oblivion chasing Elon Musk or something. lol
@@AtortAerials 😂 scary! No limit rocket !
@@KeyLargoDude just keep cruising!!! I tested more this morning it's uploading NOW so check my findings.

It’s because you can go 400 395 feet above the point of interest. It’s OK that is what’s going on.
Great subject great video you can cross the road. You just can’t cross it a lot of times.

Please do let me know I have some others testing today too like Greg with Pilot Institute and more.

Wonder what controls that.
