When I was a kid, my brothers scored two of Eddie Murphy's stand ups on cassette tapes, we had to wait till our mom was asleep and listen to them because she would had a fit about all the cussing lol. I love Eddie.
I was nine when 'Delirious' came out and I had to go to a friend's house to see it. We had to sneak down to the basement during a sleepover and found a copy of it on tape and laughed our asses off.
@@MrUndersolo I'm just a working class Irish guy, so lucky to have had Delirious on cassette when I was about 10. It was my Dad's, off limits, but still managed to hear it. When he sings and does impressions, wow!
I used to work in a grocery store. One day one of my coworkers who was ten years older than me (I was in my early 20's) walked up to me and gave me a plastic bag with all of his Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor cassette tapes! His three year old daughter found them and was saying fuck at the breakfast table! LMAO! His wife told him to get rid of them... it was my lucky day!
I was 13 years old when I first watched this special and I also watched Richard Pryor live on the Sunset Strip I was on the floor rolling the entire day
Censorship was more lax in my bro's and my childhood. We grew up on Eddie Murphy, George Carlin, Monty Python and Bennie Hill. Children now aren't even close to how sick and twisted we can get.
Try some Eddie while he was on SNL. Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood, James Brown Celebrity Hot Tub Party, or Stevie Wonder and Frank Sinatra would be good.
Gus!! We're cooking hamburgers & franks. We're not cooking a muthafkn Brontosauraus Budget in this muthafuka. This ain't the mafkn Flinstones, Gus... This my house, Mathufka!!
Your reaction to this video is the best I've ever seen. I was laughing as hard as I watched you. I felt the same same way you did watching Eddie Murphy.
Eddie Murphy is an incredible impressionist. He used to imitate Jackie Gleason & Art Carney from the old TV show, The Honeymooners. Lots of impressionists used to do Jackie Gleason. Art Carney himself said that Murphy's impression was the best. See if you can find the bit that he does about those 2. I think it's from the Delirious album, though it might be from Raw. Also, look for "Honeymooners Rap where he does a rap song as Jackie Gleason with his SNL co-star, Joe Piscopo, as Art Carney. If you're not familiar with The Honeymooners, find some clips from it on UA-cam. Gleason plays Ralph Kramden, a New York City bus driver, married to Alice and always getting into trouble with his working-class pal, Ed Norton (& Ed's wife, Trixie). The cartoon show The Flintstones was a takeoff of The Honeymooners.
I wish Eddie would do another comedy stand up just one last one cause he was brilliant. Hey if you haven't check out martin Lawrence stand up or brad Williams
35 here and I must say that very Eddie Murphy album my parents had on cassette and I wasn't allowed to listen to that for quite some time but when I snuck and listened to it and then later when I was actually allowed to oh my God it was so funny.... Eddie Murphy is a genius!!
That was a legendary (and mild) Eddie Murphy piece and a top-notch Scribecash reaction... Ok, so you have reacted to 2 of the 4 "Rushmore" comedians - George Carlin and Eddie Murphy. Two more to go!... Richard Pryor and Robin Williams. Who knows!... you might some day be a Rushmore reactor...; )
With all due respect, Robin Williams is not a better stand up than Chris Rock, Dave, Don Rickles or Bernie Mac. I give that 4 spot to mr Rickles. But the rest are baaaad men too.
Richard P. Was and still is an icon! RIP Mr. Pryor. I cried when he passed.
Same.❤

Classic story right there

Eddie was the GOAT! In Delirious, his other stand up gem, McDonalds vs mommas burgees, and the ice cream man are priceless as well!
Thanks for the video. I enjoyed it.

I've never seen you laugh that hard, Sweety. That was priceless.
After recently watching Godfrey impersonations of Steve Harvey,Richard Pryor, and Bill and a few others,I had to revisit Eddie on this right here.
Bill Cosby jokes have aged like milk, but I was elated to hear that Eddie is making new comedy specials
And Eddie has 10 kids with 5 women... So there's that..
Girlfriend, somebody dug into some old school all time great comics... love it.
Censorship was more lax in my bro's and my childhood. We grew up on Eddie Murphy, George Carlin, Monty Python and Bennie Hill. Children now aren't even close to how sick and twisted we can get.
Truth...
Eddie definitely was the bomb back in the day
Try some Eddie while he was on SNL. Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood, James Brown Celebrity Hot Tub Party, or Stevie Wonder and Frank Sinatra would be good.
Must see Eddie movies are Trading Places and 48 Hours
Try reacting to Eddie Murphy- the barbecue from his HBO special Delirious

The single best bit in standup comedy history in my opinion!!!
Gus,what the fuck is wrong with your wife? Why can't she walk a flight of steps?
"Your kids are Bigfeet, Gus!!"
It was just as fun watching you laugh!!!

I heard he’s making yet another Beverly Hills cop sequel. See this is what child support will make you do ..just say no chirren.
Hee hee. You IDENTIFIED with that 12 rolls of toilet paper shit, didn't you. Murphy? ANYTHING from his first 2 films. That's it.
I wish Eddie would do another comedy stand up just one last one cause he was brilliant. Hey if you haven't check out martin Lawrence stand up or brad Williams
Eddie and Richard both knew about Bill, but they couldn't say that back then. There was no love lost though.
More Eddie! & some Richard Pryor, too!!!
🤣🤣🤣
Richard Pryor is the greatest of all times. Eddie Murphy just copied Richard, step for step.
You should definitely check out Eddie Murphy on many women is from the same special
you look like a dark skin rukia kuchiki, which i dig.
keep up the good work.
9:55 You're about to lose your shit on those shit jokes! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣
Given what we know now Cosby had a lot of nerve chastising Eddie.

Delerious was my favorite of his stand ups.
"And if my wife don't like it, she can get the fuck out too!"
*shoe throw*
"You missed me bitch!"
I wish I was half as cool as you SEEM to think you are.

Robin was known for stealing bits from other comedians.
