Great interview Adesope! I have listened to African, Reagge, Afrobeats and Soca most of my life having a Dad who was a top dj here in CT in the US. I was taught to not jis listen to music, but pick out the instruments I heard. I still do it to this day. I played the clarinet. I totally get Flavour when he spoke about the generas of music and finding your style making your own while promoting the native music and language. When you heard the music I know it is Flavour due to the unique sound of his wonderful band. He is so talented and blessed.
