- Welcome back to Ghost of Tsushima. At last, the Iki Island expansion has been released. In this video, I'll be showing some early gameplay of the DLC. They have improved on the combat experience slightly, some of you will be happy to know they included a few new stealth animations. ubisoft had the chance to make a japanese assassins creed for many years, so sucker punch had to do it, and im sure glad they did, they never miss
To be honest, Ubisoft would have messed up a Japanese Assassin's Creed.
Sucker Punch doesn't screw games.
Valhalla doesn't compare to this game.
Ubisoft? More like ubisuck, they had the chance but instead they decided to choose rpg and now multiverse bullshit. AC now is just a pile of mess, it's not even about stealth anymore (which was the core of the whole series).
Tbh I’m glad Ubisoft didn’t make this game. It’d be a travesty. Ubisoft has a way of making me not want to play whatever they make
I think they avoided it intentionally. They wanted to be different. So they made a viking game lol

I rather think about it when people still shit on a game such as this. We played games far inferior to this one and had a blast, but some people are never content haha.

Crazy thing is, when the first Assassin’s Creed dropped I thought back then by now it would be like a cross between this and Last of Us gameplay wise. Imagine my disappointment smfh 😔
@@thehiddenone470 With how new gamers like to suck on live service, I dont blame ubisoft from going full time in that area. As a business they saw the costumers wanted to be exploited so they will exploit it to their hearts content
@@indeedgaminghere401 me too man, me too i was into this franchise since i played AC:Revelations for the first time, i thought that it would be just like ac unity but sadly it has evolved into rpg-magical bs. The whole concept of AC was based upon a blade in the crowd and the amazing parkour.
As an old ac player (AC:Rev was my first game ever) i would rather buy a stealth open world game like AC:U rather than recent titles like AC:Val or AC:Odyssey.

Man, i love how they implemented new animations, not only for stealth kills but even for petting foxes and sheath and unsheath the katana. Also, the new content of Iki are just amazing.
Do the new animations transfer over to the main game?

This game for me is just like batman arkham knight, I could play through it 10 times and then see a cool gameplay video and still want to do it all again finding new ways

The animations change as you upgrade your knife or tanto.slow to fast
What really drives home Ghost for me is the seamlessness of its gameplay. Minimal hud that only exists when you need it, fluid movements not hindered by tacky locked-in animations, a bunch of neat options like being able to flick blood off your sword, everything about it is just a masterpiece. Literally my one singular existing complaint is that side quests feel a little empty story wise, but the game itself makes up for that greatly.
I can’t believe how underrated this game is!! Definitely one of my top 3 games of all time without a doubt. The mechanics, fighting styles, Scenery.. you name it!!

This for me is my favourite open world combat of all time going back to it for the iki Island expansion proved that to me it's just so damn fun and that sarugami armour is so op it's amazing to use.

Another great video as always. You showcase so much creativity all the games you play, example here being your use of Moon Stance.
If there’s one thing that you can be even more creative and flashy with in this game is the stealth combat. There is still a lot of potential with tools that I don’t see a lot of players using.
An example here is 3:37. One guard is distracted in the pompous grass and a shaman is examining what just happened. I can totally see you using a flaming arrow on the pompous grass and then take out the shaman by headshoting him or leaping onto the crate and assassinating him.
That pompous grass, so aloof and arrogant.

Idk what to get impressed about more, graphics, ninja gameplay or the real samurai movements of the gamer
Nice gameplay. I've yet to buy the dlc, but that will make it, that much more fun. So glad they decided to bring us a dlc, instead of ending it. Cheers

It didn't. As God OF War has beaten RDR2, both Red Dead and Ghost of Tsushima are what it's considered "The People's Choice". MAy I say that Ghost of Tsushima is 100 times more original than TLOU2, and RDR2 is a 100 times more complete than God of War. Nonetheless, 4 great games, whereas 2 are Masterpieces.
@@theportugueselegend I can't agree with you on this one, GoT is a great game, but not a big game such as TLOU2. Something original is the Naughty Dog script and choice in narration. If you ever played AC or any open Word ubi-game, you will have to recognize that GoT is top-tier in this catégory, but there is nothing really original or incredible, its a good action-aventure game with an extremly stylish and beautiful context and environment, but nothing more. Btw GoW, Tlou2 and RdR2 are all masterpiece, but GoT isn't or we will have to call all 16/20 and 17/20 games masterpieces
@@benjidrake300 Tlou2 was original? really? was this the first revenge narrative game with zombies you have ever played? Even the sales of TLOU2 is lacking compared to those 3. GOT even exceeded the sales of GOW. So if we rank it according to how succesful it was it would be rdr2, GOT, GOW and TLOU2 going last and TLOU2 is the only game that has a very low users rating whereas rdr2, GOT amd GOW both have high user and critic scores. TLOU2 doesnt deserve to stand with these 3 games. This is made more obvious with TLOU2 having permanent price drop because of very low demand
@@benjidrake300 Yeah "what the" explained why GoT is a masterpiece. It's original, because it hasn't anything to do with AC. That Science fiction element doesn't exist here. Plus, nobody and I mean NOBODY, tried to do a game based on Feudal Japan/Mongol Invasion and got so succesfull. And for me at least TLOU2 is the same old script: zombie-infested apocalypse, trying to survive while discovering that human relationships are so important, and at last, that "woke" perspective they gave the sequel. Now... RDR2 I can accept when you say it's better than Ghost of Tsushima. But no the other ones, I'm sorry

I am sure if this was a ubisoft game the camera angle will be unnecessary making it feel like a moba game and it will have abilities like samurai dash copied from ac odyssey bull they are never creative and the world will be either be colorful or very dark and it will be filled with boring repetitive quest and activities they can never make something like ghost with that uncreativeness and laziness they just never like to try

Man I miss this game so much, like once I completed everything I got sad for a while knowing I can’t really come back to the feeling of playing through my first time. Of course I still hop on from time to time but it just isn’t the same once you’ve 100% completed it lol. Soundtrack, visuals, gameplay, ugh too much ❤️

Yeah but this is better. That series went off the rails a long time ago. I do love some Ubisoft games though. Watch dogs 1,2 and Far cry 3,4,5 are some of the best. Also rayman and AC 1,2,3

The one thing I just did not like about Ghost of Tsushima was the inability to skip cutscenes/dialogue sequences. Can’t tell you how many outposts I liberated only to hear the same thing over and over again from the civilians

So glad I upgraded to Directors cut, it was so worth it. I love Iki Island so much. It's amazing and a really good addition. It actually made me love the game even more
