Hope it helped some! Let it sit setup for a while and then when you break it down and later reassembly it, it will be easier. I'm not sure if it would have a true affect on the longevity, but I leave my internal diffuser and front diffuser attached when I break it down so that the only think I really have to put on is the speedring/splines.
