Thanks for this video. I have 4-pairs of these pedals and 2 of them have this problem. So you said for the new o-rings the ID was 5 mm and they were 2 mm thick. Do you recall what the OD was?
Amazon has some with OD 8 mm and OD 9 mm so maybe lateral thickness isn’t always the same as radial thickness? Anyways thanks again. Can’t wait to make my pedals spin again.
@@tsn73 Amazon listing is definitely wrong unless its 1.5mm thickness, its impossible to have 5mm ID and 8mm OD with 2mm thickness :D Enjoy them free spinning pedals!
I am not totally sure what you mean, are you talking about pushing the bushing out? if so it is a little tricky but you need to put a little curve on the end of the pin and keep trying, it will eventually push out
@@MTBfixHQ 😄 I’m referring to the pins on the surface of the pedal. At the beginning you mention that you moved them in because you don’t need that much traction. But as I try to to screw them in, that does not work. It’s like the pins have reached the end. Did you use shorter pins?

You are welcome! if ID is 5mm and it is 2mm thick, it means OD has to be 9mm (5mm + 2mm + 2mm), cheers!

How do you get the pins all the way in? I can move the pins only out.
