    These are fantastic mowers. They are expensive but the Atco Balmoral 14SK is basically the same machine (with a Kawasaki engine) and second hand examples can be had for around £300, which is amazing value. The Allett cartridges all fit this machine too.

      It really is a beast of a machine! It takes a few mows to get used to it but we are the best of friends now. Thanks for the subscribe - welcome along for the ride!

    Make sure that the grass box is resting on the small “ears” sticking out on the cartridge and not low on the front roller. Cheers

    A funnel would be good when adding fluids. A brand new mower covered in petrol and oil.

    Reminds me of my Atco, which sadly has had differential problems meaning it'll cut but won't self propel. Hopefully Allett have sorted the chassis flex/nylon diff gear issues

      It’s funny you should say that - I actually had to open up the side to sort out the drive belt as it was stuck on self propel!

      You’re looking at around £1k for the smaller petrol one and a few hundred more for the larger and battery ones!
      They are expensive but certainly worth it
