"I'm looking forward to sleeping whilst my stuntman makes me look brilliant" lol gotta love James Nesbitt
+SimplyLex That made me cackle. =P
Lol 🤣 😂 😆 yep I do agree 👍
Bless Aidan and his many flannel shirts.
"What are you looking forward to in the battle of the five armies" you can tell Aidan was like.. 'do you know what happens in that man?'
"Im looking forward to knocking the crap out of some bad green tennis balls" -Kili
Yaasss
"What are you looking forward to in the battle of the five armies?"
.... Why would he ask kili? WHAT DOES HE HAVE TO LOOK FORWARD TO?
I want a mini James Nesbitt to keep in my pocket.
It's hard to resist a pair of sweet Irishmen playing Tolkien characters :)
I love these two guys! My two favorite dwarves, Kili and Bofur! I love Kili because he's perfect and Bofur because he makes me laugh!
Same here! They are also the closest to Bilbo, and that makes me happy. The part where Aidan was saying what he was looking forward to, he had this look like, I can't spoil, but uggghhh why?!
I know! I'm thinking Kili really doesn't have a lot to look forward to! Even though the previews look great for this movie I am dreading the ending! I'm in love with Kili, but I really did love Bofur, too! He made me laugh so, so much in the first two movies, and he was always the most sensitive, always caring about Bilbo and others! I will really miss these two characters!
"Yeah, I'm looking forward to sleeping whilst my stuntman makes me look brilliant." Hahahahahaa.
I just started crying when Aidan said the Battle of the Five Armies was an "ordeal" Dx IM NOT READY THEIR DEATH SCENES IM GOING TO FALL TO PIECES!
Geez, Aidan just has the cutest laugh. X)
Irish accents heaven
These men never fail to make me let out a hearty laugh.
I think that the Battle of Five Armies will really show the mortality of the dwarves. They've been through all these adventures, and have even fought an enormous dragon, and have survived so far- but in battle do the dwarves fall, defending their uncle- in vain, as he dies shortly after.
Year 2020, im still sad over Fili, Kili, and Thorin's deaths. And so end the royal line
Year 2021 I cant even cry anymore because I cried too many times...
aiden turner is perfect i love him omg like i canttttttt he’s so adorableeeeeeeeeeeee
Kili and Bofur rule ♡
It's so sad that Fili and Kili have been established as favorites by so many. The last movie is going to be so sad
"I'm looking forward to sleeping while my stunt man makes me look brilliant." XD
When kili died, I died omg 😭😭💗 he's so cute lol
me and my sister too
omg i did too... 😢😢
Me too
Tooo😭😭💔Love him
Aidan and James are so funny and adorable
Swoon, Irishmen...
Haven't seen the film yet but I swear to god I'm going to break down if I have to see Aidan turner die one more time, him as Mitchell!!! Oh god I don't think I can watch that again
James Nesbitt looks and speaks like George Clooney
Aidans laugh
I'd love to see these fellows star in The Outlander series. There are plenty of great roles to be played over the next 3 years.
Alpha January holy fuck yes yes yes
James Nesbitt is a legend
Their acceeeeents. These two will be the death of me I swear
this cast is flawless, really.
I'm going to Ireland this summer, and these videos just make me want to go there more!!!!!
I told myself I wouldn't fall in love with these guys cause they die in BotFA but it's too late. I love you Aidan!
yes he does!! melts like fire...
I LOVE U AIDAN!!
I love how the interviewer didn't ask any boring questions because in the end the fans want to know more about the actors view about their characters. Not to analyze it but sort of see it in a comical kind of way! Thank you for your work!
I love these too XD and their characters.
Fantastic questions. Empire has done a great job on these press junkets. Keep up the great work on the junkets for the next 2 movies!
heh, It's part of their LEGOcy.
ahahahaha //shot
james nesbitt looks like george clooney
james is my favorite!
When the guy asked about the Battle of the Five Armies, I thought Aidan was gonna mention Kili's death ... sorry for spoilers for those of you who haven't read the book.
Guess that wasn't exactly his 'favorite' part.
I'm dreading Fili and Kili's death in the third movie :( and Thorin's too
Really? Ive been so careful with spoilers :/ Im not having a go but please be careful commenting on videos because it does matter to some people
***** The book has been out for 77 years.
I know hence why im not pissed because its partially my fault as i planned to read it but didnt, its just not everyone has
Lol so don't guilt trip people by saying plot spoilers on a book that is 77 years old. Read the book then. I'm sure it's online somewhere.
People are not born having read every book ever written
i am in hearty agreement with that sentiment.
James is my favorite too!!!!
Rest in peace James nesbitt
When he died? OMG😢
Is it just me or did Aidan suddenly look a little sad when the battle of five armies was mentioned? He was thinking "I have to die in that part... I don't want to go!" :'(
It's funny you should say that; obviously, I know he's a handsome fellow, with a gorgeous smile and a lovely accent, but I never really fancied him in Being Human! Then he turns up in the Hobbit with gorgeous long hair and sword skills and I'm quietly gone! Perhaps it's because he's happier and more relaxed in this role - or maybe I just have a thing for long hair! :D
I swear Aidan Turner stole some of Mitchell's clothes from the Being Human set! Just look at him, now we only miss the fingerless gloves!
so much ireland my poor heart can't handle this
Love aidan♥
I love you Fili and Dean :33
Was the the interviewer in The Hobbit too by any chance hahaha .... he should've been
Bofur and Kili!!!
James Nesbitt... You are a clever man... not bad looking either..
I thought the interviewer was Ori for a second...
them two (and liam neelson) make me proud to be irish
Colin Farrell, Andrew Scott, Aidan Turner, James Nesbitt, Liam Neeson, Aiden Gillen, Sinead O’Connor.... I want to move to Ireland.
that's what I heard too... so either that's what he said or we're both crazy!
I'll take him either way, I think from what i've seen so far I prefer how he looks in the Mortal instrument poster, can't wait till that films out he looks good.
My whole wish is that, since Haldir didn't really die in the books, yet Peter killed him, maybe he could make a very slight exception and let those three live... But then that means that three others have to die, and it can't be Balin, because his tomb is in Moria... *sigh* I guess I'll just resign myself to crying, with the grim realization that it's going to happen. *sob*
Mitchell.
One cast to rule them all
I'm so not looking forward to the Five Armies. Why is Aidan looking forward to it? His characters flipping (spoiler alert.) dies :c ! I'm totally dreading that part! He's made Kili more lovable and I just don't want to see Fili, Kili or Thorin die :c But... at least they have a heroic death.
I cried at that part in the book, and when i'm going to see that on the movie i'm going too cry the Nile river!
>:C I shall cry you a river. Why can't they just edit that part out and be like; Happy Ending :D
Yes! that's exactly what they should do! :DDD then the Whole fandom be like: :DDDD
As nice as that sounds... (and I want it to be true) But I bet the fandom would rejoice, but say the inevitable: "But that's not what happens in the book! They changed too much!" :3
Where is the rest of this video?! There is a certain part I want to see but I can't find it anywhere!
Aidan went from being a vampire to a dwarf, what next i wonder lol
Bilbo faints and sleeps through the battle. We see Thorin die, but not the others.
Representing Ireland, lads!
I agree when I finished this part in the book I just sat where I was and said "Why ? T.T" ...
So proud to be Irish!
Sigh, Irishmen...
Sigh
Anyone else think Aidan looks better with the long hair and dwarf gear on?
I'm really late but yeah I think he does
Well now aidens a dwarf and werewolf!
Yeah, it was kind of 'unexpected' huehueheuheuueh.
No, but I do agree with you. One minute there's this huge battle and the next it's "Fili and Kili fell defending their uncle" or whatever it says. It is annoying but Peter will definitely expand on it.
and a vampire lol
They're irish! Obviously they'd be able to drink :)
He's going to be a werewolf in City of Bones.
Would you happen to have the link to that?
I adore Aidan and my stepmother likes James...
I love the ascents I love irish ascents, help me im diying!!!!!! :)
They die, but, if I remeber it corectly, Thorin gets a death scene and it is only mentioned that Fili and Kili died.
Maybe Peter "forgot" to inform him of that little detail...
I'm proud to be Irish to
Laborious what does this mean #confused I love these guys their awesome
No, sorry. =/ I looked through all the Hobbit interviews with Aidan in my favorites for it, but a few videos among the other interviews in the list have been deleted. I fear that interview was in one of them. I seem to recall him saying, when asked about if he was looking forward to The Battle of Five Armies, how could he possibly look forward to his death?
Update: I think I found it! Though I found it in an article, but I swear I've seen a video. Anyway, he says, "I can not imagine to be satisfied with your own death. It was incredibly hard, harder than I had originally thought, but I think he gains depth for the audience." (Question was: Were you satisfied with his last scene?)
Source: Translation from the German magazine "Nautilus"'s interview. (Apparently you can't link in comments...you can just google Aidan Turner Nautilus - it comes up.)
I'm just glad that nothing happens to Bofur ahahaha
I know it sounds weird, but I actually am looking forward to the Battle of the Five Armies - and Thorin's, Kili's and Fili's deaths. It's gonna be sad as anything, but a great scene. And I just can't resist a well played, dramatic scene. I'm trusting Peter Jackson and the actors to make it one of the best and most epic scene in movie history.
So Aidan isn't looking forward to his death scene. Good to know.
Does James Nesbitt say they would have "drank the wee of the lamb of god" to get this part? At 0:32? Because if he didn't, I'm not sure what to think about myself that that's what I heard.
Well since he already has the sword skill...I want aidan on game of thrones now!!! Actually I want him everywhere...in my house for example...but GOT could be a start...
Shame...it would be interesting to know how he and Dean think of that scene, considering how much their characters have been expanded from the book. I bet that the scene is well-made and the acting is good, though :) It might be something like Boromir's death in FOTR...drawn out and effective.
Kili❤
I'm sure they did it well; they must know what the characters mean to the fans :)
So they haven't shot the 3d movie yet?I thought they were all done but they would just show them a year appart..
Bring a tissue box my advice
Not to mention Thorin too :(
I know :( On one hand, I can't wait to see the next two movies because the first one was brilliant. But on the other hand, I am not looking forward to watching all three die :'(
So Thorin dies in the movie but Kili and Filli do not?
Guys stop spoiling it for me u keep saying whats gonna happen in your comments
I think Aidan's mentioned his chaaracter's death in an interview. So sadly, it's happening. :(
Dean's mentioned his character's death too, so it is happening, unfortunately :(
*spoliers*
What I am not looking forward to in the Battle of Five Armies is seeing Kill, Filli and Thorin die. Tolkien cheated a bit there, but I'm sure Jackson filmed an epic battle and death scenes that will make me sob like an infant.
he didn't describe the deaths properly I think.
Aidan....Mmm
