It's not about country, it is about the effort of the development, I mean, there are a lot of better places in Mexico than just the half desert that they add in the game which is so boring, I wished they added another city apart from Guanajuato, like Puebla, which is still a colonial architecture city but at the same time much bigger and modern. They just took advantage of using the typical stereotype of the desert to save money and time instead of using it to an actual better map like the mountains, forest, jungles or beaches of Mexico

Fh4 will always be my favorite, the game feels so full and that they didn't skip a detail and I love the diversity of the map and all the small towns around the map. the seasons were so fun to drive in and i still plau fh4 from time to time
Knowing forza since 2005 or just earlier. FORZA HORIZON 4 is the first in the series I have owned and EVR played and i love it drifting around the city or just doing highway racing.
It was the first horizon game I really put heaps of effort into and I have heaps of cars I still love driving. I love the winter season as well because I’m from Australia so driving in snow is super rare. Yes I do have blizzard mountain in horizon 3. But it’s not a full map. Horizon 4 feels so cozy. And last of all. I love the sounds. The viper and M4 GTS are my main drivers. And the ID.R is awesome. The downshift sounds of the V8 McLarens and the W16 Bugattis are awesome as well. There are too many things I love about it
The reason I got 4 and not 5 is mainly the setting. I just find it nicer than the desert-y setting, even with its jungles and volcano, especially with the four seasons to keep 4's visual look refreshing. 5 Does have more variety in locations, but I'm just not a fan of the desert. Maybe it's because I grew up in the New York State, in a rural town of fields and forests for most of my life.

You can auction them or toss them, or sell duplicates but yeah, an option to sell any - even for less money than you MIGHT get at auction would be nice. But anyway horizon 4 is gorgeous and enchanting and o hope you love it!
Dunno. - Edinburgh is better than a fucking Desert - Customization is much more efffective - Hospital Records in 4 are godlike - Spinning Wheel actually gives you better cars - Super 7 is like speedrunning - No "Mi abuelo coche" shit - Some story missions give you sick free cars such as the koenigsegg agera, the RWB Porsche 911 or the Dodge Demon SRT - Season changes are actually changing season.
ok so here is the reason why am I playing FH4 is that everyone is bashing down the FH5 map and saying not much of a graphical changes. asides from that I bought the game for like what 8$ ig
Two reasons: FH4 right now on Steam - $30 AU (Premium & on sale), FH5 right now on Steam - $70 AU (Premium& on sale). The other reason is I've never played any Forza game so I'm starting with less of a cost risk, knowing that FH4 is said by many to be a more complete game. I guess in essence they're the same reason :P but yeah there's mine...
i dunno, even tho i have them both and played both of them, I felt that forza horizon 4 is home to me while forza 5 more like chores to do, even the weekly and forzathon still more alive in forza horizon 4
Theo I ain't played Forza horizon 4 in 2 years and I still remember playing on my uncles Xbox one and unlocking really cool cars and stuff... Sad thing is my uncle deleted it because he wanted a new car. Reason it was sad was because I had LITERALLY 400+ cars and over 3mil or I think more...
I'm one of the players that still play Forza Horizon 4 and I'm gonna explain why. I also own Forza Horizon 5 and I've played it 170hours now and I'm kinda running out of things to do that are fun. Something that these games are both great for is just to chill a bit and drive through the overworld or the expansions. And ngl, as much as I've complemented Forza Horizon 5 to not add streets for no reason to the streets counter like Forza Horizon 4 did with the amounts of Streetclusters everywhere, I prefer the variety of the map and I like that it's not so big. The map looks genuinely different everywhere unlike Forza Horizon 5, where there's a lot of emptiness and reused assets, despite having a bigger file size than Forza Horizon 4. The amount of times I've driven past the same building on different places of the map in Forza Horizon 5 kind of added to the boredom. TL:DR: The Map is just plain better in terms of variety and size. Another thing that weighted down the map were the season changes. While I hated the Winter in FH4 a lot, it also really added to the feeling and the direct comparison really made me like the game more, because I could get excited again when the spring came. FH5s Season system is really depressing. Barely anything changes, maybe there's some rain here and there or a sandstorm, but other than that it's always either night or sunny. If they would've removed the season system as a whole, this probably wouldn't have bothered me as much, FH3 is my favourite out of FH3, FH4 and FH5 after all and that one doesn't have a season system either. TL:DR: The Seasons system in FH4 is just better. Then the Handling. Forza Horizon 5s Handling is beautiful. It feels very snappy but very precise at the same time, similar to how FH3 felt, which is great. A big difference though is the grip on different surfaces and if you drive through breakable objects like some bushes or the guardrail. While almost everything in FH3 was solid like cement, in FH5 everything feels like butter, which sounds good but also isn't. Driving through little trees or bushes or even the guardrail without being slowed significantly at all fells like it's just too easy. The same goes for the grip changes. I don't like that you only need 2 wheels on the street to have full grip, I want it to be bumpy and to be slowed down when I get off the streets. FH4 is the perfect middleground between driving though butter or on Asphalt that is actually sand and Losing grip by just touching the offroad or driving into a cemented palmtree. TL:DR: FH4 feels more challenging because of the grip and breakable objects based on how much grip you have and how much you get slowed. And finally one of my biggest complaints, there's not enough Drivatars and NPCs driving though Forza Horizon 5. The Map feels dead, there's nothing in the way that you need to drive around, the game gives you so much space, that it's boring to play. The Highway in FH4 was already huge but you still needed to swerve to get arounds NPC Cars and stuff, but there are almost none in FH5. FH5s Highway is too big and there's not enough NPCs. I know, a lot of it comes from realism, because Mexicos streets aren't that loaded with cars, but I don't think this should be the realism that should be implemented. It should be fun, and it's boring. Forza Horizon 4 doesn't have this issue. TL:DR: FH4 has more NPCs and makes it more fun to swerve around them while FH5 feels completely dead
FH4 was literally my life. Made and lost friends, grinded the Festival Playlist, tuned 500+ cars, and did an endless list of shenanigans. Edit: (Also remember the Goliath Road race money glitch in February 2019?)
I played this for the first time when added to core pass on Xbox and let me tell you I fell in love with it! I’m currently listening to the soundtrack again, as I haven’t heard or played the game in a while and I just wanted to say there’s a few roads in it literally a 15 minute drive from my house as one of the POI’s is actually a real area just outside my city and it tripped me out because I just thought I was really high at first until I Googled it because I was from around there 💀
Do you guys still get new horizon playlist challenges with every new season? Mine kind of stopped like a 2 months ago. It just says not avilable, try next time.
I still play it to the date just because it has more map filled than fh5 and even is more vibrant in colours and environment than the sand deserted like Mexico 😅
I play FH4 all the time maybe even more than 5. I play it on my ROG Ally and did a fresh playthrough when I got it so on top of still playing on my Xbox. I did a fresh start on Steam also. Something about it definitely keeps me going. The only thing I truly hate is that it dosent show which tires your car has in the garage. So you need to remember which ones you built for off-road and drift
Still play FH4 2x a week. Lovely map, great cars, LegoLand, and still a lot of other players. I'd be very UPSET with the developers if they killed FH4 just when FH6 arrives. Also, if any fans with extra Capri FE's they want to auction, it's the ONLY last car I can't ever seem to get/bid/win. Cheers
To me, when I was first picking the games with gamepass, it was the collab cars. FH4 had both the M12 and the Quadra V-tech, while FH5 only has the M12. So that started me on FH4, and after that I already had too much progress to switch.
After hundreds of hours and doing everything there is to do in FH4 I mainly play forza games to tune cars and take photos, Fh5's map is a lot bigger, but there's practically nothing in it. The textures are only good around the roads, head into the desert and the textures are incredibly low even on maxed out graphics. There's less to do, the map is just boring in general and not pretty to look at. Fh4 has a much prettier map, and better roads. I'd much rather drive on the narrow and windy roads of fh4 than the dull, boring, long roads of fh5. I also enjoy building rally cars and doing timed rally, I much prefer the forests and dirt roads over sand, desert, and more sand.
Because it is better than 5. Because it feels as a finished product in comparison with 5. Because if you got the ultimate edition, you got all cars not have still some dlc’s you need to pay for like in 5. And simply, because of seasons.
this is my favorite horizon out of all of them, horizon 1 was alot of fun, horizon 2 was boring "fight me" horizon 3 didn't have enough to do besides the bucket lists, horizon 4 has everything to do and love, seasons missions and all and horizon 5 is just a new number to the series lol
For me it’s the map it’s very pleasing to drive and theres many things to look at unlike for forza horizon 5 which just flat it’s very beautiful but flat just gets boring fast
At the end of the end I put more hours into FH4 compared to any Forza. And I pray we'll get season again in the next Forza Horizon. Every time it was winter I was having so much fun. The map looked gorgeous with the white snow reflecting all of the different colors throughout the day/night cycle.
Played Forza horizon 4 the last few times I've been on the xbox. Just feels a nicer environment and gameplay, but also I find the Mexico environment boring. I live in Scotland so that also might be the reason why I still play Horizon 4
My points for doing it: - Seasons and the different effects on game play and driving - It's UK, a beautiful scenery to drive around, doesn't matter which car I drive it just looks beautiful (many landscapes, woods, seas, the highlands) - All the DLC's (Lego -> The Race Track, Furtune Island)
I can play FH4 at 4K / 120 and it looks awesome with HDR on at night. FH5 for me runs at like 60 fps and has all sorts of graphical hiccups. Kinda a no brainer. Maybe my opinion would be swayed if I had better hardware but… those days are a ways away still.
Bought myself a T248 last month. First time i have ever used a steering wheel. I also have an i9 with 4070. FH4 runs in extreme at 200+ fps. It's insanely good. I've also been to Edinburgh and the graphics in FH4 are spot on to the city. I love it and I'm going to say 1 thing. With a steering wheel, FH4 and FH5 are the best driving games I've ever played.
I installed FH4 like 11 hours ago just to check on it to see if I'd enjoy it more. Horizon 3 was still the most fun I've had in a Horizon game, Loved FH5 when it dropped then got bored a few months in. Like FH4 and especially the season changes but Loathed the cross country and the map feeling so bland. I usually spend maybe 20 mins on FH4 then either go back to Motorfest or FH5. Or unbound or Horizon 3...or anything else.

Fh4 will always be my favorite, the game feels so full and that they didn't skip a detail and I love the diversity of the map and all the small towns around the map. the seasons were so fun to drive in and i still plau fh4 from time to time
It's enchanting
"Why Are People Still Playing Forza Horizon 4 in 2024?" because it's still and always has been a superior game to Forza Horizon 5
I just love playing fh4 cause I like the roads and the sceneries better on the Britain map. Love the mountains in fortune island too for drifting.
It is gorgeous
There are too many things I love about it
I recently bought a physical copy of FH3, and I've been playing it a lot more than FH5 currently. The game is just so much better
0:48, 3:18
no way
It got me aswell lmao😂
lmfaoo
The home screen song is so soothing
The reason I got 4 and not 5 is mainly the setting.
I just find it nicer than the desert-y setting, even with its jungles and volcano, especially with the four seasons to keep 4's visual look refreshing. 5 Does have more variety in locations, but I'm just not a fan of the desert. Maybe it's because I grew up in the New York State, in a rural town of fields and forests for most of my life.
Yes, 4 feels alive and right at home! Dense and detailed! Charming
Horizon 4 is just THE Vibe and in my opinion the peak of free roam racing. I cant enjoy 5 a bit, 4 is still the God of free roam for me.
Main reason for me is map and i have mod my forza 4 and imported all forza 5 cars and RWD physics 😅
how did u do that
@@prdezka2252 What mod the game?
Using Microsoft visual studio and some moding apps importing car is easy but physics part is hard you have to do it for each and every car copy paste from fh5 to Fh4 with some little changes👍
@@K-SHABAB is there any tutorial you usef?
"pants I can actually see grass here Can this countdown piss off" " okay monkey" got me dying🤣🤣🤣🤣
Surprisingly There are still around 40-90 players often in nfs rivals, i still play it for the sake of nostalgia. It really is the forgotten one.
i pre ordered the demo and i loved it so much i finally got that actual game and oh my god am i having fun. it's such a good game if im being honest. the only thing i dont like is that you can't sell cars. like if you buy a car that you end up not liking it's just permanently stuck in your car inventory.
You can auction them or toss them, or sell duplicates but yeah, an option to sell any - even for less money than you MIGHT get at auction would be nice. But anyway horizon 4 is gorgeous and enchanting and o hope you love it!
Dunno.
- Edinburgh is better than a fucking Desert
- Customization is much more efffective
- Hospital Records in 4 are godlike
- Spinning Wheel actually gives you better cars
- Super 7 is like speedrunning
- No "Mi abuelo coche" shit
- Some story missions give you sick free cars such as the koenigsegg agera, the RWB Porsche 911 or the Dodge Demon SRT
- Season changes are actually changing season.
I think they may be playing to listen to that menu music , that thing is calming and beautiful
flippin love that music
SAMEE
FH4 is just a vibe from the beggining to the end
Yes... Total vibe. So familiar, beautiful, enchanting
Its free to download with the lowest tier of gamepass
GTA and Rocket League hardly count as racing games.
They killed Midnight Club for GTA V lul
Fh4 was my first forza game so i will always love fh4 more than any other horizon game
ok so here is the reason why am I playing FH4 is that everyone is bashing down the FH5 map and saying not much of a graphical changes. asides from that I bought the game for like what 8$ ig
great video still cant believe i have watched you for all these years now and even tho i don't play racing games or game anymore i still watch you
I appreciate that!
@@BlackPanthaa no problem 👌
Two reasons: FH4 right now on Steam - $30 AU (Premium & on sale), FH5 right now on Steam - $70 AU (Premium& on sale). The other reason is I've never played any Forza game so I'm starting with less of a cost risk, knowing that FH4 is said by many to be a more complete game. I guess in essence they're the same reason :P but yeah there's mine...
Im still playing Forza Horizon 2 in 2024😂
Horizon 5 just feels like an expanded dlc for horizon 4. Plus the setting of driving in the UK to me is more interesting than Mexico
Just bought FH4 for 20$, I feel like it’s the best value for money!
Edit: forgot to mention 20$ for the ultimate edition!
Enjoy! I'd be happy to drive around with you and help out being a longtime player! You're going to love it!
The game costs 9.99 now and it looks almost as good as Horizon 5. Makes sense to buy and play.
"Why the hell are people still playing Horizon 4"?
Why the hell are people playing Horizon 5?
Now that I have 4, I don't need 5. That's why.
Forza horizon 4 is so nostalgic for me
i dunno, even tho i have them both and played both of them, I felt that forza horizon 4 is home to me while forza 5 more like chores to do, even the weekly and forzathon still more alive in forza horizon 4
winter is one of the reason why i love FH4 rather than FH5
Theo I ain't played Forza horizon 4 in 2 years and I still remember playing on my uncles Xbox one and unlocking really cool cars and stuff... Sad thing is my uncle deleted it because he wanted a new car. Reason it was sad was because I had LITERALLY 400+ cars and over 3mil or I think more...
2:49 I thought my net went out
Bro fh5 is literally just empty soulless... Amd people online keep disappearing its literally an unfinished game.
Because FH4 is one of the best Forza Horizon. Its my favourite
Mine too, something in it just captivates me. Could be graphics, could be driving experience, could be music I don't know
BlackPanthaa, I really liked this video! I subscribed too!
FH4 is more green and grassy than FH5, and I bought FH4 in 2024 because it was 80% off + all DLC free
Yes! Way better and more beautiful map. Denser, more detailed, feels more alive, real, and homey
Yes I do
I still play it to the date just because it has more map filled than fh5 and even is more vibrant in colours and environment than the sand deserted like Mexico 😅
Fh5 is just open and empty. At least fh4 has woodland
3:13, Big Smoke.
I just love to drive fast and tear up the fields and trees, I don't even usually do the races.
Cause we broke 😂😂😂
I got fh5 and fh4 and tbh the atmosphere and vibe is completely different, dare I say fh4 felt alive
Also if u search up best car game Forza horizon 4 pops up
@@randomnoobguy1411 assesto corsa is the best tho
@@randompotato4216 yeah but if u were someone just wanting to buy a game u would search it up on google of which the game that pops up is FH4
I got my copy yesterday and i had an absolute blast
its getting delisted....... 😢
Aaand the reason why i bought it yesterday
Still play FH4 2x a week. Lovely map, great cars, LegoLand, and still a lot of other players. I'd be very UPSET with the developers if they killed FH4 just when FH6 arrives. Also, if any fans with extra Capri FE's they want to auction, it's the ONLY last car I can't ever seem to get/bid/win. Cheers
Bro not everyone is rich
It's only £10, you can easily make that money via side hustles.
@ I’m talking about 5
FH4's road, offroad, and even cross country circuits are all just infinitely better than FH5
forza horizon 5 is empty game that's why people play horizon 4.. the end. no need to thank me for saving time
I occasionally play it bc it runs amazing on the series X compared to fh5, also just for the old map
who still plays fh4 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
The FH4 map and seasons are the best. The seasons is just incredible and makes the game feel fresh every time.
this is my favorite horizon out of all of them, horizon 1 was alot of fun, horizon 2 was boring "fight me" horizon 3 didn't have enough to do besides the bucket lists, horizon 4 has everything to do and love, seasons missions and all and horizon 5 is just a new number to the series lol
The Crew Motorfest is a better FH5 than FH5. FH5 is so boring, meanwhile Motorfest just teaches you about different parts of car culture
I absolutely love how everyone shat on fh4 in like 2019, but now people love it so much
Good to see Theo revisiting Forza Horizon 4!!
@11:51 RIP ✝️ checkpoint missed
As A series s owner , FH4 takes up less storage than FH5. And delivers almost exact same performance and quality as FH5.
Plus I love the Map.
My points for doing it:
- Seasons and the different effects on game play and driving
- It's UK, a beautiful scenery to drive around, doesn't matter which car I drive it just looks beautiful (many landscapes, woods, seas, the highlands)
- All the DLC's (Lego -> The Race Track, Furtune Island)
I can play FH4 at 4K / 120 and it looks awesome with HDR on at night.
FH5 for me runs at like 60 fps and has all sorts of graphical hiccups. Kinda a no brainer. Maybe my opinion would be swayed if I had better hardware but… those days are a ways away still.
Try DLSS 😊😊😊 it was added to FH5. FH4 runs about 80-100fps average for me - ultra 4k 3080m
The FH5 map is 70% empty and the tracks are rubbish. FH4 just felt more complete and thought out.
Or unbound or Horizon 3...or anything else.
how do you play fh3? I just cant open it, turns itself off after splash screen
@@skriddle3 I take the disc and put it in my Series X. Works the same as it did on my Xbox one.
Horizon 4 is bland to you?!?! No way! It's all the gorgeous bits of the UK. Stunning man. Yhe architecture, the signage, the environment, feels alive. I van almost smell the falls leaves and the spring rainfall...
@@John.Christopher Maybe had I not played the previous 3 maps I'd agree. But because I have something to compare it to (esp the Ozzy map), The UK one just wasn't my cup of Tea
But my cousins who live in the UK love this map so to each their own.
@@banshotenin1178 I'm glad there's something for everyone 😊
