Monster Sanctuary Tournament Circuit PvP- Grid Draft Rd5 vs SmugLookingBarrel

The fifth round we have a showdown against SmugLookingBarrel, giving us back to back rounds with rematches of former tournament grand finals. Some extremely strong team compositions this round and some great games as well.
My pool had Minitaur, Thanatos, Ornithopter, Mad Eye, Goblin King, Goblin Pilot, Grummy, Toxiquus, Manticorb, Goblin Warlock and Tanuki. I pivoted in the last pack out of debuffs and into a more buff based plan which may or may not have been a good decision. Probably a coin toss honestly which would have been better, but I think I came up with a very solid team from what I selected.
Barrels pool included Ascendant, Bard, Terradrile, Catzerker, Nautilid, Spectral Toad, Koi, Raduga, Gryphonix and Mogwai. A very wide variety of viable possibilities made this tough to gameplan for so I went with raw power and maybe a bit of the unexpected.
