Great video! I just visited Calgary last month for about three weeks for the fourth time and really enjoyed myself. Two features I really like about the city are the C-Train and the beauty and the bustling atmospheres of the malls. I will most likely make Calgary my home in a couple years.

@@wanderer410 last february had been the coldest feb in a few decades. Wind chills reached -35 to -40 in some areas here in Calgary. I like the cold so it worked for me just fine. Just bundle up and you'll do okay.

I love all your videos! I live in upper Michigan, usa. I have spent some time in Calgary back in 1997,1998, and 1999, visiting a friend who lived there. Unfortunately, she passed away in 2000 and I have not been to Calgary since! But I really loved it when I was there! Especially lunching in the Calgary Tower, The Sultan's Tent restaurant and riding the C train! I am sure much has changed since then. I sure miss my visits and my friend! Keep up the great work and showing more of Calgary! By the way, it is just as snowy and cold here as in Calgary!

So tell me, please, is it the same with houses? I actually like the winter more than summer after a few years in Calgary. I kind of regret that I didn't know how to enjoy the winter wonderland in the first few years. Of course summer is still good. But winter is even better once you find its real beauty.
@@yili3339 But I've heard from some immigrants who have been living in Canada for years that the first few years of their new life in Canada they were surprised to see the snow that they had never experienced in their home countries... But as the years went by, they started to hate the long, cold and dreary winter. I've heard some of them who reside in Prairie provinces, or other places like Ontario, Quebec, even Atlantic provinces claiming that they want to move to the west coast BC, where the snowing season won't last from October to May, where the winter is not extremely cold.
@@oldheaven8688 Not in Rocky mountain. You will know what is the scene from faiery tales when you reach the mountain and forest. It is not the ordinary snow landscape you can see anywhere in Canada. Make sure you have snow tire and all wheel drive, though. Bring your snow shoe or country ski gears, too. You will find the best part of your life have not started yet.
My dads parents were from Calgary, but they ended up in Vancouver . I’m originally from Vancouver , but spent more than 20 in Edmonton.... I love Edmonton but live in England right now.... want to move back to Canada with my UK spouse ( and two cats ) 😊

Hello, I just stumbled on your UA-cam page and I have been woooooowed by your insight about Canada.. I have a little question to ask I have a dual citizenship and one of my citizenship visa allows me to come to Canada with only an eta so I wan to ask with an eta can I work on Canada to convert my eta into a work permit. Although I have applied for a student visa before with my other visa which I must have a visa to enter Canada in which I was denied.... I really do want to come to Canada Also thanks for video.. Short answer: you can't legally work in Canada with an ETA, you need a work permit and you can't get a work permit inland, you must get it from your home country. With an ETA you could job hunt in Canada and when you go back to your home country with a job offer from a Canadian business, you could get back to Canada with a work permit.
