The SoC had two versions of the staff. One where you can unfold the staff out of the chest piece, and then a whole separate piece with a smaller chest piece but bigger staff that was more in-scale with the onscreen weapon.
To be fair, the Mega Dragonzord was only ever shown in the show standing in one place and firing all the weird weapons it had in that mode lol You don't need the arms to be flailing around, you don't need him to be doing the splits - it's a display piece, not a toy.
It’s also called Dragonzord in Fighting Mode or in Zyuranger Goryujin. And the SOC Dragonzord actually can hold the staff it has a tv version of the staff or you can use the chest and make it into the staff.
With how much these things cost you'd think Hasbro could have made the legs for dragon zord Abit more compact,it honestly looks like the poor guy is sitting on his feet instead of how the og dragon zord folds it's legs in a compartment. I'm gonna pass on this one the zap megazord and dragon zord just aren't doing it for me,thanks for the review
@@devilbringer1102 that has yet to be seen so I’ll keep my eyes peeled..but this has already been confirmed to be loose and feels cheap especially the T-Rex dinozord

No matter how good the new Dragonzord/Dragon Ceasar (SOC and ZAP) look, the Battle mode/Gouryujin will never look as good as the OG just because of the knees, And that's the sad part about it. That form is my favorite
Yeah, the reinventing of the leg/knee joint or peg is good, but that has its own drawbacks. Guess it might take us another 10 years or so to get it right 🤷♂️
@larryle8191 well, you could simply place the combination into the back of Titanus, however, the chest plate and claws of Titanus wouldn't fit. So it will still look incomplete
Why do they feel so cheap?? I understand that there are budget restraints, but these Zap zords don’t even measure up to standard modern transformers in terms of plastic quality. They feel like they’re made of shampoo bottle plastic. I haven’t even owned the megazord for a week yet and the t-rex hips are already heavily stressed from 2 transformations and one is now permanently stuck one click out of a standard standing position. Don’t get me wrong, they look phenomenal, but even after watching a bunch of reviews complaining about quality, I was still shocked at how thin and cheap they feel in hand. They are literally dollar store quality :(
Yeah, that's probably the major downside of the ZAP line so far. Hopefully they hear our feedbacks and the ZAP Astro Megazord will be made with a different plastic material 🤞
I dunno. despite the legacy lacking articulation, it seems much more solid with better plastic and connections. SoC is better, but not in everyone's budget.
Oh definitely in terms of plastic quality, yes, Legacy & SOC takes the cake but with the die-cast metal weighing the combinations down, that's the only downside. However in terms of a real life design, ZAP would be ahead
@@KiDMtheman the legacy had better plastic than this one? That's crazy. I either threw mine away or lost it a long time ago. But the pictures on this new one sold me. I bought the megazord already, just haven't opened it cuz a sealed box looks so good. If there's any defects when I do open it I'm screwed.
@@SharkWithFreakinLaserBeam Having them both in hand, it does feel that way. But it could also be due to nostalgia goggles 😅 please check your DinoZord, if there's anything missing or broken out of the box, you can get a refund or exchange I think 🤔
I love how they abandon that stupid from design of the Megazord’s shoulder. They couosve had the same design for Dragonzord’s sole, but they opted for it lit for a better-looking design.
I don’t know why ur guys problem is the "plastic" if they made it like soc it’s gonna break. and my only problem is they don’t make the zords poseqble everytime they make the Dino zords or any zords in this case
They did try their best to make this more poseable than before tho. As for the plastic, it's more towards the feel of it. Like every area feels like it's hollowed out. If I were to take the 93' version or even the latest Sentai Mecha, those would feel sturdier to the touch. But it's definitely something worth noting or pointing out for those considering to get this zord seeing as other people have experienced some breakage on their unit
Battle mode looks good! Thanks for the videos! ☺️ good job!
Gee this is the first version to real display dragonzord's face details!
Thanks your interview,dube~
IKR! Really loving the clear visor look 😊
After seeing this, I think I'll just track down a Legacy Dragonzord for my display.
Thanks for the review.
No problem man, but I might wanna hold off on hunting... just for a week or so 😉

Nice! Yes, the clips are still fresh, so have to be careful when removing the clips
So I'm afraid if you display it in the mega dragonzord mode the whole thing's gonna crumble by itself after a while?
