She is such an unbelievably good singer, I'm absolutely blown away. It takes so much talent, vocal strength & technique to convey feelings AND to sing this song so so so incredibly good like she does. What a star!

I swear she lives, sleeps, and breaths Elphaba...she puts 100% into every word she says...she plays Elphaba every show to the a point that most Elphies can't even play on thier final night...Willemijn is incredible....so sorry I didn't see her on Broadway...

Yes! Sorry, I just saw this, but I know exactly what you mean. It's gotten to the point for me where I've learned and memorized many of the larger Wicked songs in both German and Dutch. She is my favorite Elphaba, but I love Stephanie J Block and Eden Espinosa very much as well. They're tied for second.
I hope they will love her on Broadway as much as in Germany and in the Netherlands. I was lucky enough to see her preforming 3 times in Wicked and I have never seen anything like her talent before.
I saw Willemijn in Wicked for my 16th birthday. She was amazing, and she is one of the best Elphabas I have ever seen. Her acting and singing were insane, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching her onstage. I got to meet her at stage door afterwards, and she is one of the most down-to-earth people you could ever meet. She was really nice, and she wished me a happy birthday after seeing the badge I was wearing

I can't talk about Willemijn without fawning or swearing at her amazingness! It's really weird seeing the rehearsal because it's stripped down Wicked- no costumes, no scenery, it's great! Thanks for posting!

I have been trying to decide whether to come from Scotland to see Wicked in Germany where I can understand a fair bit of the play or go to Scheveningen in November and see Willemijn but won't be able to understand a blooming word.....Willemijn wins. HAVE to see her!!
@TheStar2bella well I think for that it's a little too late. You have to go to Holland then, 'cause she's now playing in the Dutch version of Wicked. She isn't performing in Germany anymore. But in the Dutch musical she's also very good!
