Thanks for this video because I missed the presentation of Scoop SE and didn't realize it was more like the original! I like my Scoop 2, but the cell phone pocket definitely competes for room and often doesn't stay closed! Great videos... love your channel and your room set-up!
Once again, I loved the review of the bag. My bag is never organized. About every couple of weeks I will tackle a clean out, I have a purse organizer and stuff never get back in there correctly. I’ve ordered a more structured one from Temu and that will be it. Either I go back to organized purses, which were never organized, used, I just don’t take the time at the stores or wherever I am to put things back correctly. You, however, are my idol.

Great video! I got the Scoop 2 and didn't like it as I consider it to be TOO compartmentalized. I ordered the Scoop SE and feel the same way. Cute bag, but back it went! I love all the detail you put in your videos!

I kept that one scoop 2 just bc I love the pattern so much, but I can work with the original and this new SE much easier. What a great review! I have 3 of the OG Scoops so I exercized extreme self-control and passed on the SE. (I did buy and return a Scoop 2 as it simply didnt pack right for me for the reasons you demonstrated).
Are those pen slips I’m seeing in the “wallet” section? Also, are the soft pockets lined with the new, thicker material Lug is using in their matte luxe bags, or just the OG “felt”?

I would describe watermelon color as peach 🍑. That was an excellent comparison between the scoops very helpful. I still prefer the original scoop because of the fabrication and quality.

I think it’s leaning more peach. I don’t own anything in Lug but I’m just here for your video 😂. I actually REALLY want one of their smaller wallets in a pretty pattern. The one thing that is drawing me to the bags though is the insane amount of pockets and organization. I mean jeez. Is there a favorite bag style you have from Lug? 😊

They're like little Mary Poppins bags! I couldn't believe how much they hold for being so small! 🤯😅
Hmm, so my favorite Lug bags would probably be...
Small- The Jitterbug. SO dang cute, and holds my essentials, but not much more.
Medium- The new Dory Medium (although, it only comes in their Matte Luxe Vegan Leather right now. And it feels nothing like leather and can be on the heavier side). It's such a good silhouette, and I love the size and hidden organizational pockets outside the main zip section. Or, the Tenor or Samba XL. Those both have a similar overall shape. Very functional without having TOO many pockets (I think Lug can actually overdo it with the pockets sometimes 😅), and they both have various ways to carry.
Large- The Skyliner or Apollo, for sure. The Skyliner is a tote/shoulder bag only, no longer strap. But the Apollo has shoulder straps and a removable crossbody strap. The skyliner is kind of like a perfect size between a small and larger Vera Tote, with that same overall shape that they have. And the apollo is kind of the same shape but bigger. I like both of those quite a lot. 😊
As for their little wallets..
If you've ever picked up a Zip ID and thought, "dang, I wish this thing was a little bigger and made out of nylon so I could shove a chapstick and mask in with my cards", well then grab you a Metro XL. 😅 I'm legit OBSESSED with them! 😅🤷♀️ Then, behind it, my next favorite small wallet from Lug is probably the Splits. It's small in length and height, but the depth on that little sucker is thick. 🤣 You can 110% fit the contents of your full sized wallet in those. If you don't carry a checkbook, or anything long like that, of course. 😊
Then there are honorable mentions... the Flare 2 is a good, smaller side of medium sized, bag. The Mini Ranger is a fabulous small bag for its functionality, and it looks like a little rectangle. 😅 The OG Samba is a good one. The Alto is a really nice medium-large bag. Tons of people really like it a lot. And I'm sure there are more that are great, but there's a lot from Lug that I don't have, too. Particularly their larger bags. I only have a few of those. Most of my Lug bags sit in the small to medium range.
Ok, I'm shutting up now. I swear, I can't stop myself from talking or writing a novella. 🤣 If you pick up anything from Lug you'll have to let me know what you think! 😊

I’m so bummed I didn’t get the scoop SE. I was not really familiar with the scoop and thought it be to small. However it has so much space for a smaller bag. I was thinking of getting the little pouches that you got and use them as teacher appreciation gifts. I thought of putting like a gift card of some kind and maybe a chap stick or something.
The Scoop SE (and the original Scoop) does have a really decent amount of space for how small they are. I'd say avoid the Scoop 2, however. Something about that design really limits its capacity. But, if you want to try one out I'd say grab an original Scoop off the preloved market for now. 😊 You can find them for great deals, and they're really, really similar to this new version. Then you can test it out for a great price. 😊 And I absolutely love your idea of using the twinkle pouches as part of teacher gifts!! 💜😊 That's such a great idea!! While I think this is adorable, I think I’ve decided that Lug bags just aren’t for me. I was so so so in love with all the pockets but after owning several styles, the way they poof out so much really disappoints me. The only bags I’ve really liked are the Ranger 2, the Tenor, and the Coupe for date nights. I do really love their pouches and wallets though! I’ve just found that I’m liking less pockets. My new addiction of Portland Leather crossbody totes and my beloved Vera MSSB are my forever bags! So easy to switch out and carry. By the way, have you seen the new style previews on Vera? I ❤ the new one that the MSSB is coming out in!!
Totally get that girl. Some of the Lug styles are too much for me, too. But some of them I just can't resist. 😅😊 I still need to try PLG. How can I buy the different lug bags is there a store
Hi Mary. 🙂 Lug makes buying their bags a bit confusing sometimes. They have 3 main platforms that they sell on, so you should be able to find what you're looking for on one of them. There's Luglife . Com (I have to put spaces in between or it won't show up) which is their official website. Then they also sell their products on Luglive, which is an app you can download from the app store or Google play store, and then the last place is QVC. I hope that info helps, but if you have any more questions then feel free to ask and I'll do my best to help! 🙂
